This was a cool video to pop up in my feed. This is more of a "real world" unboxing and product purchase than people realize. Going from an 8 to a 13 is probably a lot more common than going from a 14 to a 15...like many videos would make you think is happening. Enjoy the new phone!

Yup definitely. Now I don’t have a 8, but I do have a XR that I’ve been using for over 5 years so I definitely know how frustrating it is to constantly see everyone on the internet upgrading phones every time a new one releases because that’s not realistic at all. I just ordered an iPhone 13 today because my iPhone XR was starting to get pretty slow and the battery life wasn’t great anymore so it was time to say goodbye to my old phone and hello to a new one.

Honestly! I have an 8+ and I’m getting a 13 mini soon

i’ve had the pink iphone 13 for 2 years & it’s still in immaculate condition. my battery life is amazing & i never have issues. it’s the best phone i’ve had besides the iphone x.

13 is still a great choice for multiple reasons: still gets 5 years of update, has almost similar performance to 14/15 in both camera and hardware while boasting a cheaper price, has a higher quality battery compared to 14/15 (after 9 months of usage my battery health is still 100%) and most importantly comes in much more beautiful colors. i bought the blue version 9 months ago and its the best and most gorgeous phone i've ever had

@@ys3929 hi Just avoid heating of your phone, like: dont use cellular too much, letting phone cool down before charging and closing idle apps, using only apple certified chargers and keep it away from direct sunlight for too long

Battery isn’t good I bought 15 and sad I needed to buy s24 instead

The iphone 14 carries a lilac purple but the 13 pink is also adorable❤

i upgraded from my 7 plus to 12 pro max when it came out, i couldnt let go though. my 7 plus was in rose gold too and i was in love with it. ig i liked the feel of the thinner one.

The 11,12 and 14 had 💜 but still a nice choice!!

Cool video! It’s good to see you give a genuine opinion about the unboxing and the first look etc. i recently got the iphone 15 plus and honestly the unboxing wasn’t anything special as it was so hyped about and it only felt like a regular phone unboxing. I used a android phone for many years and the iphone has a very different setting and feel but i love both androids and iPhones equally

I just upgraded from the 11 to the iPhone 15 Plus!! tbh, it was just for the pink color. if not, I wouldn't have upgraded 😅

Thanks for the cute tutorial i remember i had the first iphone 6 for like forever got it when in 2016 and didnt upgrade till 2019 when the 11pro came out and now im upgrading to the iphone 13 color pink because my daughter dropped my iphone 11pro and got a screen replacement but its not the same anymore the screen has been replaced twice and sometimes it just glitches so i need to upgrade to a new one n that would be this pink iphone 13 ! I cant wait 🎉

I recently ordered the iPhone 15 Pink Plus, after my last phone (iPhone 13 in red) got damaged beyond repair. The problem is, as pretty as the pink iPhone plus is, I absolutely loved my red iPhone 13 and it was only after it got damaged that I thought if I’m going to get a new one, it may as well be the newest if I can afford it. But I’m now seriously considering cancelling my order and changing it so I can have the same red iPhone 13 I had before. I hadn’t even had it for a full year before it broke and I really miss it, red phones are my favourite, and that particular shade of red that the iPhone 13 had (I don’t like the red shade on the iPhone 14 because it’s a bit too orangey and bright). Some people might think it’s crazy to repurchase the older model that I had before, even though I am fortunate enough to be able to afford the new iPhone 15 if I’d like. I do like the dynamic island, and even though the pink is pretty on the iPhone 15, every time I see or think of the red iPhone 13 I had up until May this year, I feel like I just want it back. I was really hoping there would be a new red iPhone in the 15 range, and I was really annoyed when there were none. Perhaps they will bring a red colour way out next year, maybe not. But the more videos I watch of the iPhone 15 Pink compared to when I look at the colour of the iPhone 13 red, I just miss and want my old one again. And I ordered the iPhone 15 because I thought if I’m going to get a new one, why return to the same one I already had and plus when I can get the most up to date I guess I may as well. But I’m starting to have a change of heart and not sure if it would be a mistake to cancel on the 15 to go back to the 13. I think most people would purchase the latest iPhone that they could afford. Would love any opinions…has anyone here opted for the iPhone 13 red even though they could have bought the iPhone 15? Or to put it another way, has anyone ever just gone for one of the older models of iPhone because they simply didn’t like the colours on offer in the newer models? Thanks 😊

You can buy clear cases that don’t turn yellow. However you’re probably going to need to spend a wee bit more on it then. I’m planing on going from my 8 to the 13 soon as well and I’m going to get a case from mous.

I also did a jump like yours! Went from the 11 to the 15 just because it came with my phone plan! My 11 was fine it still took good pictures. But my battery was dying. I connected it to my car via usb every day on my hour long drive to work, and I ruined the battery because it was constantly plugged in to listen to music! My 11 still works and is now my mom's backup because her Samsung died. So whilst I can get her a new one, she's using my battery depleted 11. At least we have a house phone just in case! I think you will really enjoy your phone specially since you take care of it so much

I also just got the iPhone 13, 3 weeks ago the pink one in 128gb and I love it ❤ I had a OnePlus as my first phone but it’s screen broke for the 3 rd time so it was not really reliable, my parents gave half the money and I gave half (btw I’m 15) and my first phone was a hand me down so it was a bigg upgrade

The iPhone 13 is super cute the 13 14 15 they all do the same thing so u picked out a perfect phone

I also upgraded from 8 (256 gb) to 13 (128 gb) so far I am satisfied with my upgrade there’s a lot of changes

A hack for the clear case I bought a clear one with purple tint as (i just bought iphone 14 in purple )for the sides so even if it turns yellow at the sides it wouldn't be visible much ! so try to look for clear case with the sides in some color cause only that turns yellow the back doesn't if you bought a good one.

I just upgraded my iPhone 6 to a 14 Plus and it felt twice as great. Now I wish I made a video of it before 😂

How do you get everything transferred I have 11 pro and someone has an unlocked one I was gonna buy and use my sim should it be oka?

After upgrading to the 15 pro max from the 12 pro I kinda regret it. I’ve never had a max before, so I figured there’s a first for everything, but it’s so big and heavy and I miss the little notch at the top of the screen instead of dynamic whatever the heck it’s called.

Wow that’s shows that I did not make a bad decision I’ve upgraded my iPhone 11 64 gb in green for my iPhone 13 128 gb in green yeah green happens to be my favorite color 💚💚 I love my iPhone congrats of yours .

I am getting my iPhone 14 pro max in a few hours. The mail didn’t drop it off because we had to sign for it and no one was home so we’re getting it from the post office asap. It was so annoying! I also am upgrading my 8 plus! I am gonna use my 8 plus as an iPod touch bc it’s in great condition! I was torn between a red 13 a pink 15 plus and a silver 14 pro max. Obviously I went with the later based off my first statements. I went with that one because it was the best bang for my buck with my phone carrier. The red 13 was so pretty though I almost went with it anyway! But Verizon was offering the 14 pro max for $20 a month for three years which is $720 so I just HAD to go with that one! I also got it at 512 gigabytes!

I'm so excited cuz I'm gonna be upgrading from my iPhone 8 (256 gb) that I've used for almost 4 years but I have 56% battery life so it gets dead batt VERY quickly- to the iPhone 13 (256 gb, starlight) !!
