And now I have the desire to see a Titanfall mech moc. Just imagine a diorama where we have Quaritch’s AMP suit getting the snot beat out of it by BT-7274…

So badass. This is how Quaritch's AMP mech suit should've been from the start. Fantastic work!

I agree with you, but if it was like that from the beginning the price could be 100+ dollars, so it's not entirely accurate yes part uses is probably not the best but at least it's at a good price

it’s awesome no doubt and much better, the only benefit i’d give lego is that people care about scale and that the mech they built is to scale.
I love this guy, he teaches his son a valuable lesson. "No matter how hard you try, someone can always do better than you"

They should make some upgrades to these avatars and have them be almost as big as the amp suit as in the movies
This upgrade clearly shows the level Lego is lacking in making movie accurate mechs. Lego could've done better. Btw excellent upgrades throughout. Big thumbs up sir.
I know that creating parts lists and instructions is a lot of work, but damn, I'd be happy to pay for them to be able to build something like this! New subscriber! Thanks for the inspiration!
As someone who also loves building legos, i must commend you on your building style. You have such a unique building style, where i found myself many times throughout the video going "I would never have thought to do that with those pieces", and the final result is genuinely a master piece.
The things lego is capable of doing nowadays concerning accuracy, detail, and functionality compared to even just 10 years ago is really astounding. Definitely a product of their increased small parts catalogue, and also talented builders like you. I was blown away by this moc!
Okay we definitely need a parts list now, this is too good to be a simple speed build video.

Hear hear, I agree I would gladly pay for it too
Man I swear no matter what mech it is that you're upgrading, it always comes out looking so much better and more accurate Oh my gosh it's even better minifig scaled than Lego too, better colors, better articulation, better accessories, just all around better. How frickin cool
@OlleMoquist
Жыл бұрын
Not sure if I agree with it being better scaled to the minifigs. Canonically the AMP suits are 4 meters tall while the na'vi are around 3 meters. A na'vi fig might reach the knee of this MOC, but in terms of shaping and colour this is a bit closer to the movie version.
I feel like there should have been an option for it to have a gun, like the other amp suits. The Giant knife is cool, and so is the giant chainsaw weapon, but a gun would have been an ideal mech suit weapon, if not slightly overdone.
1:19 That slight adjustment of that piece made my day. Thank you. 😌
I would of preferred a gun and knife over a flame thrower but it still looks sick
You should put a piece list together (if you already haven’t) so people can buy all the parts from bricklink and then provide instructions to do it ourselves. Yours is infinitely better
1. Damn it's accurate! 2. When was there a flamethrower in the final battle? This dude's AMP suit had a belt fed machine gun. Also, I would have loved to see a clip on the shoulder for the knife, like in the movie. I may add that if I build this myself
An absolutely DRASTIC improvement. As it should have always been.
I think, that lego made this suit so simple is, exactly for this. The entire time legos idea is, creativity. And what boost creativity more, than wanting to upgrade the factory produced stuff. They achieved their goal.
Mechs are my favorite build, specifically iron man variants, but that cockpit looks awesome. Always cool when creators make something better than the set was originally.
I actually thought the Lego set was pretty good, except for the knees, and here you go proving me that it could be improved
Omg this is actually great with the accuracy on the mech suit in the first movie
You should make a series of fixing sets based on movies using viewer suggestions, this is awesome
I absolutely love this for constructed realism and movie accuracy (This was much closer to scale and detail than the set). However I can understand why Lego doesn't do sets with this much detail very often, the part count alone, not to mention the part specializations would've made this set well over $100. Regardless, very well done, Congratulations and keep up the great work~

this is way off the scale, it's about twice as large as the movie version
@cass7448

@@josephkawamura5422 Look up images of the movie suit. It's pretty much spot-on for minifig-scale.
@josephkawamura5422
Жыл бұрын
@@cass7448 It's not even close. It's about 2x as tall as it should be. In the movie humans are about as tall as the hip joints. You can see it in several scenes. In this moc a minifig wouldn't even come up to the knee of the suit. The Lego version is actually much closer to scale
@cass7448
Жыл бұрын
@@josephkawamura5422 No idea what references you're using. Everything I can find (including images of the movie set prop) has humans being a little taller than its knees when it's in a standing position.
@josephkawamura5422
Жыл бұрын
@@cass7448 most people's head come up to the connection between the two legs, which itself hangs a bit low. But that is not reflected in this moc. Minifigures don't even come up to the knees of this thing. You can easily see this if you use the photo of it at the end of the vid, just see how many figs you could stack to reach the top. My estimate is around 4-4.5 which would mean this is about 23+ feet to scale. The film version was just a bit over 13 feet.
I’d like to see you try to create the Matrix APU, the avatar AMP suit was inspired by this design

I would love to make it someday. Thank you for your comment.
It's really cool!! What's NEXT!?
Never disappointed w/your reworked versions! Well done....
Looks great, better than i expected from the thumbnail too. My only real complaint is the shoulders. I like that they’re raised higher than the original, but everything below the waist looks short and stubby in comparisson now. Having the shoulders be just one step lower might’ve looked a bit better, i think.
LEGO really needs to copy this build for Avatar 3 sets :)
I would’ve really loved to see a revamp of the Thanator (the black dog creature that came with the set) because it just doesn’t look right or sit right with me at all.

Wow, amazing job! Subscribed!
I kinda wish you had done the assault rifle from the movie.
Lego needs to hire this guy for sets
Great video👍gotta make sure to download it so it doesn't mysteriously dissapear, just when I get the parts, for no reason

Looks 100x better. Your doing God’s work.
Gorgeous.
Much better. I love your joint building technique, gonna have to try that.
Looks amazing
Nice one! For MOCs like these it would be great if there were some comparisons to the movie mech as well btw ^^ Great work.
Lego needs to hire this guy
1. Make a demo mech using only 10 pieces of Lego blocks 2. Let your son to upgrade it 3. Let yourself to upgrade it
es increíble lo creativa que es la comunidad de lego, pueden transformar set no tan completo a obras maestras.
Perfect. Tak powinny wyglądać te zestawy
Now I'm imagining this twice the size. Damn fine work
Amazing work as always
Mishima you make literly every flaw that lego has made perfect 👌
This single guy made a set better than actual lego employees did
absolutely amazing! I can't imagine how much time went into this! As someone who is a massive fan of the amp suit, I love this, you truly are a master builder.
AMASING i love it❣
Imagine Lego company sees your creation and hired you as a Lego help to develop new Lego sets and that would be amazing 😊
Don’t forget the big gun too, the one on the left of the mech stand
I’d love to see the banshees next.
Great mech, bravo!👏
lego, hire this man right now
I wasn't planning on getting any of the avatar sets, but now im thinking about just ordering the pieces online and doing what you did cause thats amazing, and so much more movie accurate.
Wow, this build is far more movie accurate. Well done.
Lego never fails to disappoint
Just watching the cockpit being built and it has a speeder like look to it, which I think looks super cool
Wow, amazing work, I’ve always wanted to see an accurate amp ever since the movie came out. Also an accurate scorpion.
Loved it
Now this is something I would pay for!!
I REMAKE THIS IN LEGO STUDIO 2, THIS IS TOO CRAZY, I WANT TO ORDER EVERY PEACE OF THIS AMP
So amezing build
Its amazing how accurate he got it. Like that's how it looks in the movie.
Amazing!
I love this idea of upgrading these sets to a Master Builder design. Though I do wonder, can you take a set that is already a master build and make it even more accurate?
amazing
これはとても面白くまた、勇気をくれます
Now THAT is the suit we all know and love
Reminds me of the exosuits humans used to rock during the wh40k's dark age of technology, great job lmao
Now that's worth 40 bloody quid, lego honestly
Хорошо
Perfection
the RDA and me thx you for the upgrade for the Mechas
this is awsome
Interesting
Awesome
the thing I find interesting about this particluar figure is with the right configurartion of pieces and the correct color scheme, you could probably turn it into a WH40K Space Marine or something of a similar stature
Chubby boys moc was good but this is so much better!!!!🎉
Лучшее из лучших
You are the best builder
Awesome build. Just thinking about how a slight modification to the cockpit would make this into a badass APU from the Matrix
Clear!
COOL
Somebody needs to be hired by lego
you should make a tutorial on this cause its amazing! If you do make sure to show what type of lego piece your using
You earned a sub
Wow!!!👍👍👍
The AMP suit looks like a mech from the matrix
This looks like what I would actually expect to see from Lego. At first I was excited when I saw that there was a new Lego Avatar series, but was then quickly disappointed when none of the sets really looked that interesting. None of the sets look very cool, and the colors are weird for some reason. Your version of the AMP suit looks so good! Exactly like the original! If this was an official Lego set, I would buy it ASAP.
Nice.
Estafino👏👏👏🤭
This mech suit looks very menacing in confront with lego's 1 Don't know why but your upgrades reminds me about zion's defense suits (Matrix)
Awesome looks amazing do you have the parts list?
Oh wow this is just amazing, the real Lego one has no effort in it, it seems like that
The hot wind blowing jagged lines across the sand
Mega Construx should’ve had this IP deal and I will die on that hill. They always release sets that are pretty much as game accurate as you can get.
