Upgrading From ECC to SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Ғылым және технология

Many SAP customers are still running SAP’s last Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product, known as ECC. Since its scheduled to go out of standard maintenance by the end of 2027, Paul Saunders, a thought leader in ERP with extensive experience advising clients on upgrade issues, advises ECC customers on their future options. In particular, Paul maps out how the capabilities of SAP’s state-of-the-art ERP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, coincide with changes in their company’s strategy to determine the optimal time frame for an upgrade. In Paul’s words: “You should never dictate your business strategy based upon what a vendor is doing.” Instead, Paul helps customers understand their own schedule and when the right moment for them is. Furthermore, he explains how products and services like #RISEwithSAP and SAP Signavio reduce the technology and process burden of an upgrade so companies can focus on the most important aspect for project success: the people.
