For cassava processing, pneumatic dryers are the best choice; however, flatbed dryers are more commonly found in Africa. In this video, NRI's Dr Marcelo Precoppe shows how he uses Discrete Element Method to overcome the limitations of flatbed dryers and make them more efficient.
