@@eEvangeliste Hi, depending on how many speakers you want to add ,first get RCA Y connectors, one with a male end the other end being 2 female ends, I have 4, 2 for each subwoofer. 2 for surround and 2 for the back speakers. Get some speaker wire and add rca male ends to the speaker wires and connect them to the subwoofers .All RCA Y connectors you can order thru amazon including the rca male connectors for your speaker wires, the additional speakers, I got 4 from monoprice. Satellite speakers. They are up firing and front speakers, all in one, I believe they are $88.00 a pair. I interconnected the front connections to the upper speaker connections. So they sound simultaneously or just connect them to the front terminals or for upper firing to the top connectors. Truly a surround sound. So I know have 4 surround and 4 back up firing speakers. Works really well.

I was getting that with the old 9.2.4. I haven't experienced it with this one yet ( fingers crossed). Nakamichi has improved this part of the system. It now has auto feature and more frequencies to select from to avoid this issue. Unlike the older one where it was just one to turn on and off. Or go into WiFi equipment and change frequencies in there. I live in an apartment building. And according to Nakamichi, I was told because of all the tenants and different WiFi frequencies in use. That's why it was happening to me on the older 9.2.4. Hope this helps...

I have both in my house right now. I do believe the Nakamichi is going to be returned. The LG S95 is superior with music. The Nakamichi is great for movies and the bass is incredible. But the drawback is music with the Nakamichi, the speakers that connect to the subwoofers don't put out much sound. Sometimes I hear a gurgling sound from the subwoofer during commercials as if its misinterpreting certain frequencies being put out. The left subwoofer will fade out every once in a while. I have never heard anything weird coming from the LG S95, It sounds great and all of the speakers put out good sound with no dropouts so far. I would love to buy a second subwoofer for the LG S95.

@@brosmile9388 Yes, I agree that adding another Sub may make it slightly better. I have the LG95QR but am unhappy with its lack of bass although I have cranked it up in the app. Also, music quality is bad via AirPlay. I am a headphone user (with a few flagships, DACs and HP Amps) so I am particular about music quality and disappointed with the “Meridien-Tuned”. May I know what are your settings? Personally, I'd get the 2022 model, mostly because it's future proofed for the next few years, thanks to eARC. Many sources of media out now (streaming, Blu-ray, gaming) require eARC to send out better uncompressed audio, especially if using Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. The 2019 model does support Dolby and DTS, but it won't be the best quality media has to offer. It's all really depends on your preference on if you just want a great sound system or a great sound system with extra support.

The LG S95 is doing better than this Nakamichi in the music department. The Nakamichi wins in movies with explosions, you can feel the bass. Nakamichi drops sound every now and then. The LG, never. Nakamichi subs sometimes makes gurgling noises during commercials, makes me wonder about the refinement of the product. First day the Nakamichi blew me away! Now the Nakamichi is on its way back to the store. LG stays.

@Bro Smile hmm. Checking that out now. I guess I could always just split the audio input before the receiver and have an option for a dedicated high excursion sub.. that kinda defeats the purpose of having such a tidy, expensive system though. Really wish I knew how these systems manage to get a timed, latence free quality wireless signal to the various channels. It's sorcery. No way it's something like the overpriced Acrylic audio stuff. Gotta be more similar to JBL speaker link or Sonos or something. 🤷🏼

I loved Nak cassette decks, but soundbars? That is all they can think of today? Pretty sad. I have a 7.2 system (DTS-HDMA/ATMOS decoder splitting sources to Four class A/B amps driving all 7 channels with 170 WPC RMS @ .02% THD with two 18" Subs powered by a 2,000 Watt power amp. BTW, all my surround speakers are 3 way full range speakers with 10" woofers in every one of them. The Front Right/Left/Center are 4 way massive speakers that have 18" woofers in each. The "TV" is a 4K projected 150" screen. I'd pit that against and plastic box pea-popper surround soundbar by anyone. LOL. BTW. This Nak Soundbar "System" is not 9.2.4 when it only has 4 surrounds, one center soundbar, and 2 subs. That is a 5.2 system. Sorry to break the news. Math.

I have owned the original Nakamichi 9.2 from the time it was first released. I have the Naka 9.2 in my master bedroom, and have a real home theatre downstairs , with amps , separates , processor, etc. Before my home theatre was built my family and I used the Naka as our primary movie listening device. If you do the sub crawl and get the placement right , the Naka can be a really good entry point surround system. The Naka main con is music playback, and that’s because of speaker driver size . All in all the Naka is a good system for people looking for that cinema experience, without breaking the bank .
