I think I figured it out. The Blade on the OG ones can be drilled out like wahl did with adjust o lock. But the drilling had to be perfect and clean. It should open in 1.5 mm if done right.

The lo pro is a more “normal” style of clipper. The fx are equally good but a different shape to get used to.

I recently subscribed and started following you (great videos). I know that it’s all about personal preference, but in your opinion which is better Gold Pro Fx or these? I ask because I had a pair of the Gold Pro FX that I purchased from a friend for dirt cheap but he modified the adjustment lever to float (I prefer the clicks), but the company said that they don’t replace the lever so they were going to switch them out for a new set. I asked and they were willing to send these special editions instead i just hope that I made the right choice…! Thanks for your input.

@@saidzueke4782 I got the og red and silver magic clip I think the new gold ones are probably stronger but I’ve never tested or read about them but the magic clip they got the triple serrated blade , it’s essentially way weaker then the babyliss but I’m telling you it doesn’t even matter because with that blade it’s getting through just about everything in my opinion , it’s lightweight too , which is something I particular like

I think the charging light will flash when they’re low. I just put them on the charger between clients.

Did they open to 4.3mm with the click in the lever or did they open more once you took it out?

Don’t think you can unless you get the bracket off a blue one

2 questions abt both, if anyone can relate: When you zero gap these clippers , they rattle against the guards , anyone notice that? Just bought new Wahl premium guards so will test this out. Also, the trimmer is extremely loud, any improvement on that? I love both aside from these hard to ignore issues!

Anything has the potential to rattle guards if zero gapped so I’d just adjust it back. Trimmers are just kinda loud 🤷🏻‍♂️ same as most the skeletons

I currently have a Slimline pro from Andis (Zero gapped) but they don't give as crisp lines and they pull the hair near the neck area. I need your help selecting a new trimmer for myself. I have 3 options in mind. 1. Stylecraft Saber. 2. Andis T-outliner corded (The cord doesn't bother me). 3. Babyliss Pro Gold FX Which one will be best in terms of lining and longetivity. Please help

I have the red van da goat editions and Idk man.. I feel like they pull hair sometimes and they do get hot.. even with the faper blade on em.. They still got real hot. Idk if I have to oil em up instead of just using cool care or whatt

They have something built in to stop if they sense too much resistance. Make sure they’re well oiled and the blades aren’t over tightened

The blade that comes with this machine gets hot really fast. I changed mine to the fusion and it stays a lot cooler for longer.

2 hr run time tho yikes. I got some Wahl senior cordless this week and damn they’re supposed to last 4 hrs but mine couldn’t make it 2 so I have to mail them into Wahl since you can’t return to Sally’s anymore. They drag and bog down on hair. My Stylecraft gammas I got last week the blade is loose regardless of stretch blade or not. So that suck! On a positive note I started fading bald, 1 open and then zero. Fading into a 1 open makes my life so much easier! Wish I would’ve got these instead of the cordless seniors 😂 damn

I did a video on the seniors not long ago and pretty sure it’s only 2 hours. Either way I just charge in between clients and when doing the line up etc and battery life isn’t ever an issue

The box on the senior says 80 minutes, and get these, theyre better than the senior imo have alot of power lightweight and they do not get hot and 2 plus hour run time

Wahl senior has 4 hours runtime? I don't know how you came up with that ! it says on the box 70 minutes and on their website

I don’t know if it’s just my zero gapping skills but I’ve had 3 sets of MB guards and they all end up with teeth breaking off

Same problem here... it seems like you have to change the blade, maybe these series of clipper and trimmers were a flop, that's why they ended up in Ross stores

I didn’t love the mythic but some of my barbers do. It is super heavy so if you don’t like heavy clippers it’s definitely not for you

I'd say if you have used a corded clipper and you liked to fade with it then you won't complain about the Mythic weight cause they are significantly similar, but if you're talking about a corded senior or andis master those are like having a brick in your hand, I am definitely getting a Mythic cause I don't trust build quality in the ergo and we don't have access to the caliber BMGs here where I live

I have a question-kind of general--I have been watching a lot of videos today because I am clipper shopping--All of you will be in a cut, showing off what you've just got--great, thats why I am here--and at one point in every cut, (all video hosts) you say, , 'Its good, but not like what I normally use, or it doesnt do this like my other clippers I'm used to, yada, yada, yada....you post (all of you) a ton of videos talking about products you dont Seem to daily use, continue using, or regularly use? its like a one and done on every product. We need updates, know if you still use them, are they still functioning, etc....Your hair cuts are nice, videos entertaining, but I leave without a real review of the product, its competency or quality beyond 1 hair cut. And if you compare it to what you use--well, than what do you actually Use? Thats the good info, lol.

Yeah I get that! Hard part of getting so many tools. Majority doesn’t get used for long. I also don’t cut much hair these days. I can tell you my favorites and you can see what I mainly use in my tutorials if you really wanna know 👌🏻
