Upgrade your Lorcana Inkwell
Playing paper Lorcana is fun, but it can be hard to count how much ink someone has when all the cards are sleeved. Besides, card sleeves are so bland - we can do better. Follow this guide to make your own custom ink cards to add some personality to your games!

Providing the printable template? Y'all are more GOATed than Merlin!
Love that you explained how y’all put these together. My daughter and I were watching a round from one of y’all’s sealed tournaments today and when she saw the first ink go into the inkwell, she started freaking out wanting to do that for her own!
Love this idea, it's a really cool solution for the inkwell constantly getting mixed up. I might just print off a deck of cards with these artworks on them
Exactly for this reason I use transparent sleeves, also the backside is not only more easily identifieable but also pretty If custom art is not your jam using the backside of a random common card might also be a solution
My kids and I were inspired by your videos and did the same thing for our inkwells. I like that it keeps the more valuable cards safe. No touchy! I have also had great success with your sponsor for boosters and singles! Thanks for making content. More, please.
I noticed you doing this and was curious about what that was about. That is a clever idea!
Thank you for making it easier for us to tell how much ink there is. Also thank you for editing the matches so that there's little to no time for thinking. Makes it seem like it's continuous gameplay. I'm sure matches would be way longer without it
I stack my inkwell diagonally in piles of 4 so that it makes a staircase pattern. I also set my hand down in front of my characters when I put it down so that it doesn't get mixed up with my inkwell. I also use clear matte sleeves so it's simpler to see each individual card-back, but I know clear sleeves aren't always allowed in tournament play. Art back sleeves are also pretty good for this.
Very cool! Thank you for sharing, especially the pdf.
This is so cool I am working on doing this with my friends
Great idea!
This is an awesome idea 👏👏
I do the same thing except I just use a Lorcana card out in backwards so that the back of the card is facing out. I really like that art of the back of Lorcana cards so I thought it was neat.
This could fix the current issues that ppl have with mixing up their hand with their inkwell. it's become a real problem for competitive play with players getting hit with game losses because they lost focus for a second and put their hand on the table too close to their inkwell. I don't think this will fly at a set champ, but I def wanna give it a try for casual play. It can also fix the problem of remembering if you inked yet this turn as you could put what you inked face down and then flip it at end of turn to match the rest.
love the idea!
Ty for this video!! Great idea!! Also I sometimes get confused if I place my current card hand on the table next to my ink well. This prevents that!
Great idea 🤘
Awesome, thank you
Love it!
Fantasmic idea °o°
It is a clever idea for sure. One thing too you could do with a set of ones is do the old disney castle logo and have the word "Inkwell" written in the white Walt Disney style font. Just a entire set of a single logo one. Could do various single logo ones with the word "Inkwell" written on it somewhere to make it easier to see. I think another cool one like that would be the old ink bottle used in most Disney black & white shorts too.
O wow I was completely misunderstanding what was happening. I just thought the inkwell cards were sleeved cards facedown. I didn’t realize it was an art card faceup in a sleeve. Cool idea for playing on cam. Was definitely part of the crowd that was curious about it when it first debuted, but knowing the reasoning, I think it’s great
Awesome and thank you for sharing..I will definitely use. I would love to have Mirabel for my decks...what program was used to make these so I can try to get a Mirabel😉
I just use sleeves that are clear on both sides. Problem solved 😅
How do I keep track of my card collection any tips on this? You should do a video on how to storage decks, overall collection, protect them and keep track of the collection.

I can do that! - NG
These are fantastic! I would like to know if you can answer my question regarding creating them on Google Docs, such as the size of each poster and how they fit into one page. Only asking to add certain films to my inkwell set.

We edited them down in a photo editor.
Best idea, I wished you used the original VHS artwork for all of these.
I printed them out, saved straight to USb and then printed out straight out and the cards were too small, way smaller then normal cards? any advice to change it
is it true that the back sleeves need to be identical and matching for tournament play?

Yes!! In games like magic even dirty sleeves can get disqualified. I am sure lorcana will be similar

Magic tournaments don't even allow artwork sleeves, because players could hide markings in the artwork.
Great idea !
