Elasmasuridae ( or elasmasaurus ) is a genus of the plesiosaurus, and Nessie, although not real, is considered a plesiosaurus. They look quite similar in real life, but there are differences such as the fact that the elasmasaurus has a longer neck with 71 vertebrae while most plesiosaurus have around 60 vertebrae or less. To be honest they aren't even dinosaurs, they're just marine reptiles that coexisted with many dinosaurs, so I don't know why they were even in the fossil isle event but that doesn't matter. I'm no biology expert nor am I a grammar pro in English so sorry if the grammar is potato, but what I mean to say is that the Nessie and elasmasaurus are biologically related in real life, so maybe they have gotten the idea of copying it from there, but i don't support them copying it, they should have at least made it a little different, because copying is completely effortless and often makes the original pet feel less special to people who have it.
