Thankyou !! Is there any option to specify the ODP context as a query to fetch the data from a dynamic query, specifying any S/4HANA tables rather specifying static object?

Trying to implement this right now. It's too bad this connector doesn't have a provision to filter the initial load since we don't always want 100's of millions of history. Not sure how this would work if you do a filtered full load first via some some other connector.

The video says install the SHIR 'near' the SAP system - does this mean that it should be installed on-prem (on a VM?) if S/4HANA is installed on-premise? We have Xpress Route - could the SHIR sit on a VM in Azure and work just as well? (based in a single region)

Yes, you can install your SHIR software on a cloud VM, you would have to make provisions in your on-premise firewall in order to let your SHIR connect to your SAP server. But yes, its entirely possible to place your SHIR On-premise or On-Azure
