From this video, abridged instructions that might help someone: T189 Spy Camera Instructions Power On - Press button until blue light is on Power Off - Press and Hold to shutdown (both lights flash) Format SD Card Power On Press and hold F button until lights start flashing 3x (indicate formatting in progress). One light comes back on indicating formatting is complete Reset Camera - Used only if camera stops functioning properly. Power On Press and hold R Note: You will need to edit the TIME.TXT file and enter the date and time and if daylight savings time is in play in this format: YYYMMDDHHIISS Y - for Daylight savings time is active. YYYMMDDHHIISS N - for Daylight savings time is NOT active. Record in 720p Power On Press button to start recording - all lights will go off. Press button to stop recording - light comes on. Power Off Record in 1080p Power On Press and hold button for 2 to 3 seconds - Release - light will flash 3 times - Recording in 1080p starts and all lights go off. Press button to stop recording - light comes on. Power Off Photos Power On Press F button to take photo Power Off

This video really helped however my T189 does not work the same while chaging. Other than that, this video allowed me to use the dang thing.

This cam is a OEM product from China, there are many manufactures that is producing the same cam, each factory use diffent LED color blubs and the settings might be a little be different. the videos that I record have zoom and are seen in low quality, how do I solve it?

Hi... If your using a windows pc to play the file, right click and choose "properties" to check the resolution on the file. It depends on the recording resolution you select to record the video in. Normally the recording dont have zoom, most likely its your video player. Set the playback to 1:1 or full screen to see it properly without the zoom effect.

Have you ever gotten a flashing red light opposite the blue/yellow? I haven't been able to get mine to work. I removed the sd card, and plugged it in, but it is just flashing red to the left of where the blueight would be. Suggestions?

This cam is a OEM product from China, there are many different manufactures that is producing the same cam. The light color and blinking might not be the same. Its ok as long as you can charge and record videos. If you cant change and record, the cam is defective. Get a refund or a replacement from your seller.

What's mean do not use a charger that is more than 5V 2A? Coz I use phone plugs charges with this cable...it's ok or not

Normal phone charger is ok. Most phone charger is 5 volts 1 amp or 5 volts 2 amp If you use fast charger other adapter it can be 3 amps, it will burn and melt the battery or cause fire. Please subscribe to my channel so you wont miss new uploads. Thanks allot 😊

When I try to turn it on, the blue light comes on for a second, and then a red light on the opposite side comes on and they both start blinking for 10 times then they both go out. This is all it does. No single light, not able to reset, anything.

It can't find or read the micro sd card. 1) Did you put in a micro sd card? 2) Can support up to 32gb cards only 3) If you already installed a micro sd card and still having the same problem, take out the sd card and use a pc to format it first, then try it again. 4) If still having the same problem, most likely the cam is defective, get a refund or replacment from your seller.

Hi... this is a OEM camera from China, there are many manufacturers producing the same camera and they compete to sell it on price. To save cost and sell cheap they will reduce certian functions or quality on the cam. When buying from China always ask them to show you the "real" function as the camera should operate. If not don't buy from the particular seller. Most of the sellers don't even know the functions of the camera and most of them don't even bother to test and check the cam before sending out to customers. Hope this helps.

Hi... You might have forgoten to open the lens cap. Please see my video 5:53 Or your player dont have the proper .AVI codec to display AVI video, that is why you get only sound only during playback. If your viewing the video on a PC, you need to download the codec file for AVI video format. If your using windows pc, just use the build in "movies & TV" App. If you are viewing the video on you phone, go to playstore and download "all video player" there are many, just try a few see which you like best.

The blue light is the power indicator light. It will stay on untill you start the recording

So you have to press the top button a second time to start filming. If it doesn't do that arrange a replacement with the seller.

When I plug in for charging the blue led turns on on the right side. The after 20s the blue turns off and yellow turns on on left side. What is the purpose of that? Also I can't make it film while charging yet.

At 13:39 you write that charging with video with be initiated when a card is installed. Does that mean I have to set up the charging first and then install the card. OR Does it mean that if a card is already installed and then the charging is initiated then filming will start?

@@sapoty yes correct. Press and release the button to record. Do make sure that the SD card is installed. If it doesn't work it's defective.

How increase recording time? Bcoz it record only 1:22 in my cam

Hi... the camera shoulb be able to record in 3 mins interval and save the video and continue to record. If there is a error during recording or saving it will stop the recording. 1) use a class 10 micro sd card, can support up to 32GB cards only 2) try different brands of sd card 3) format the card using your pc before use 4) reset the camera if still having the same problem, the camera you got is defective, get a replacement or refund from your seller. My camera automatic stop recording after 5 minute what to do

The camera will record and save the file before it continues to record the next clip of video. If it encounters a error during file saving it will auto stop to record. 1) Try to use a class 10 Micro SD Card 2) Try different SD Card brand 3) Format the card before use 4) If still having the same problem, the Camera might be defective, get a replacment or refund from you seller.

The video is in .AVI format. You should be able to view the videos using windows media player. if you cant open the file means the video player is missing the codex file. you can download the file from the player software website. To view on your phone, just copy the files to ur phone memory or play directly from the sd card. Download "all video player" from playstore. There are many to choose from.
