Have you thought about putting a bunkbed between the closet and the wall that Joel's bed is now ? they could share room and as for the nursery you could make it as their little office and extra space for their clothes !

Such a beautiful home Hayley! I love that you're making it how you want it given the current climate! Houses and moving house are so expensive, so i'm all for adapting the homes we currently have :) Very much inspired by the show love it or list it haha We have also done the same with our little bungalow. We added a warm roof to the existing conservatory and opened it out into the kitchen. We have now got a whole new room/space for the fraction of an extension. It currently houses our large dining table and sideboard, because although we are lucky to have a spacious kitchen, we are putting an island in there which meant moving our dining table as we didn't quite have enough space to keep it in the kitchen etc Having this space also means that if we wanted to, we could turn our current living room into a third master bedroom and make the 'garden room' the new living room. I love making spaces versatile and i can't wait to see what you do with your wonderful home xx

A round dining table would make it look more open in there. Can try with the chairs first then change chairs if still bulky x

Love a good home tour! I think wood coloured chair and table would actually look really nice; or a wooden bench like you said, I think it’d bring more colour in to the space as it is quite white. My own personal opinion of course ☺️ xx

You have a beautiful home! Please don’t be embarrassed about your small kitchen, it’s lovely! I have a big kitchen diner but it’s soo old fashioned (literally have fruit pictures on the tiles 🤣🤢) haha we haven’t redone it because we also want to extend but don’t know if it’s possible now 😅 Also where is your storage box from at the top of the stairs? On the bed, the black cushions are from dusk.com, the fleecy cream ones were from Dunelm and the patterned ones were from jade Zoe interiors xx

Everything looks lovely although I do miss the grey and white striped wallpaper. I didn’t know you could get replacement drawer bars for the malm drawers are they very fiddly to replace?

U agree...unfortunately this is the effect from social media. Its all like a competition. Too long in each room😢😢😢... very hard to watch house tour.😢😢

How do you find the height of the TV on your necks? Most ergonomic is mid of the screen at eyeline when sitting down and yours looks way, way higher than that. Given it looks like you wouldve had the room and choice on the media wall to bring it down, I'm curious why you put it up so high? Do you typically stand in that room or sit on the back of the sofa when watching? I'm just a bit confused why youd choose that position.

It’s because the builders put the plug sockets for the tv quite high on the wall so unfortunately we didn’t have a choice

Watching this for a second time and just noticed you said you painted your kitchen cabinets? Of course now I remember they were grey before. Were your doors gloss? What paint brand did you use?
