That's how you animate lasers in projectile coding. Instead of low dmg high speed overtime hit, better bigger dmg low speed one by one hit.

@@wahyuwirawan727No? There's no coding-related reason for it to not just be a hitscan. If anything, it's a lot simpler and more-performance friendly for it to be so rather than being projectile. It's likely for gameplay-related reasons, since an instant attack is unavoidable, it won't be as fun trying to dodge the lasers as a CV player. It'll just be a dps and health check.

@@chrystales6169 it's not only simple as that. The dmg itself must be calculated + updated every second. It's performance related. It will relieve device load thus smoothen the gameplay. Some devices can't calculate fast enough for dmg overtime. Not everybody has a high end phone or plays the game from pc with a perfect internet connection. The gameplay itself doesn't matter since dev could reduce the dmg for instant hit overtime with the same dps.

Ai Moscow is a lot worse, with full garpun, no jet can literally do a second run. Consider your jet shredded, the same applies to your missiles.

Only downside of garpun is when you get too close to the enemy aa missiles stop defending.

Nope that's not true at all. Garpun will ALWAYS PRIORITISE air targets/missiles before ships or torps But yes one thing that can happen is ur garpun may enter unnecessary reload state when too close to others

It's the same as you flare it. If it was destroyed too close to your ship, it was considered a hit.

Laser AA in this game are idiots. Bombers and fighters keep dropping bombs but these idiots are busy targeting bombers/fighters which have almost 15-20x durability than a missile or bomb. I have bought Massachusetts and it comes with 6x Excalibur. My level is below 20 and I have no idea what to put as AA. Is THEL better ? Or should I just go with the usual searam

@@mavicmaestroproductionsdro9520 no buddy. searam is actually good for below lv20 players. Its much more effective than lasers. Searam is good for missiles and lasers good for aircrafts
