I appreciate your channel so much! My mother is Latina and growing up she didn’t really know how to style curly hair. That’s why I’d always put it in a bun. Now at 24 years old lol I can finally know the correct method to care for my curls. Gracias💗

Me too. My grandmother (mom’s side) had straight hair and my mom has 2a hair. So my grandma would straighten it. When I was younger, my hair was straight, when I hit about ten years old, my hair became pretty curly. I had no idea how to style it. My mom kept it short because my roots are really straight. Now that I’m 42 is when I can style my curly hair. I didn’t stand a chance. My family has pretty straight hair.

My little girl has 3c/4a hair and I’m going to try this as she really wants her “curls to be out”. I have a routine but I just don’t love it yet and this looks like I might love it more. Thank you so much.

I feel like every time I use the ecostyler, or any gel over a leave-in product it ends up making these little white particles in my hair that makes it look like dandruff!

Eco style is too heavy for my hair. But sometimes gel don’t match with that leave conditioner

Mix products in your hand first. Take the back of your hand a little drop of leave in and whatever else and your gel and see if it mixes BEFORE you put it in your hair. I learned this a few years ago and it’s a good way to tell you if products will turn white or just sit on your hair

It’s based on the products you use with it. Like products from Shae moister never leave white stuff, but some from aunt Jessie does.

Try putting the leave in on your hair for more than a day and style with eco styler then. I used to have this problem but the more I "stretch" my wash and go the less flakes I got. Good luck💙💙

Yesterday was wash day for me and I tried your denman brush method. Omg I had so much definition. However, I did get a lot of shrinking but after stretching it was perfect. Thanks for this great tip!

love love love your styling methods. I started doing it and honestly my hair is just on another level. However, I feel like I'm still not diffusing right, and honestly I feel like that's stopping me from reaching my full hot girl potential. So can an you do an updated video on how you diffuse? This makes me want to try the denman brush again!! (As you say "if you didn't like it try it again"🤣) I stopped because I felt like it made my roots flat and with volume being the GOAL that was a no no. I definitely am interested in trying again!!

Hey precious girlie! 😘 Hope you enjoyed your days off -- thank heavens you're ok (2020 got me worryin' 'bout folks)! I discovered these two types of denman results by accident. It's amazing how versatile ringlets can be. I'm not a fan of separating either, but the thing I really have little to no patience for is finger coiling. Haha, after doing 2 or 3 finger coils I just can't. I've been using the denman lately, but just making sections as I go without clipping, bc its faster & easier for me. You look beautiful, as always, and yaaaay for the hair veedeeo content!!! ty & xoxo 💖💖💖

thank you for talking about shrinkage with that those type of curls. i have the same type of curls as you can my hair shrinks so bad and i have been trying to find girls with curls that have the same as me but they diffuse and scrunch but i can’t do that or else it will shrink really bad. thank you so much for this!! i will be using this

I just bought the Denman brush this week off of Amazon. I am enjoying it so far. I have the same exact curl pattern as you. I also dusted my blow dryer off this week to try the hover method shown by Manes by Mel. It has made a big difference in the past three days. my hair is medium porosity depending on the weather my hair could dry fast or slow. Thanks for the video! New subscriber!

Any advice on how often it should be shaped? I have to search to find a hairstylist that can handle my girls hair cause everyone so far has to straighten it first 😏

I love this look more than a more defined look on you. the more volume the better! I tried this technique but it didn’t work for me. I prefer to style with my tangle teezer

I have the EXACT same curl type and length (well, my hair is actually waist length but it shrinks 🥲). Thanks for this, I just did this hairstyle because of a similar problem.

Eco never worked for me but I recently tried the cantu moisture retention one and it’s everything I wish eco was. Eco for me feels like it immediately dries out my hair but this actually adds hold without losing moisture

How did you prep your hair before the gel? Which creams/moisturizing product after or with detangling bc you just started with gel here, thx ! Love it

This looks gorgeous! I’ve been trying to work on my own hair recently and find a routine that works for me as I end up straightening it almost every week and my hair is suffering with heat damage. at night you can put it in a pineapple using a satin or silk scrunchie, then you put it in a satin bonnet, or sleep on a silk pillow.
