At some point I’m gonna help farm the vanguard bow to help the build reach its full potential. Be sure to keep any roll that is min maxed bc I feel an impending bow nerf, (bc of sins of Wishender Lemon) and can never be certain it won’t be heavy handed in some regard. Would be a shame to regrind 576s if 612 max acc starts to matter. Or if draw cancel gets axed and stab matters, etc. I’ve been doing the same thing with SMGs and Sidearms and keeping mixed stats instead of all range. Anyways good explanation on the empyrean resto extension. Might have to use solar bow instead of POTS.

i think we're fine as long as we can still craft consistency bows. if they nerf the damage profile to something akin to Checkmate balancing, then damage perks like adrenaline and swash will prob be less useful than they were before.

@@diegojavier9397 F that, this is the best game for bow playstyle. Bows is one of the only weapons that have a true high ceiling, I dont see people doing what hynra or deadream do in the lobbys. I would rather have a fun game then it balanced/boring

Stop the cap chief, it just did not have Hynra "all over it", there was like 30 different builds and the only even slightly "Hynra" things in there would maybe be Ensnaring Slam which is barely a Hynra thing seeing as half of the strand hunters you see also use it, there was "any bow" which is not a Hynra thing and Cammy simply mentions he hates fighting bows which is the opinion of at minimum 90% of the pvp community plus the Hynra bow playstyle is not even remotely what Cammy talked about he was more focused on ppl sitting in the back tagging others for 80% of their health to be instantly cleaned up by a teammate or get forced to be out of the fight until they regen. Double gl and snap skating was also mentioned but neither of these are "Hynra" things, I'd say double gl is an EpicDefender thing way before Hynra and even then I wouldn't bother tying it to any one player, same with snap skating considering even Cammy has done it and he's the first person I saw it from personally. You either didn't watch the video or are just talking shit to talk shit which is honestly not surprising from the typical KZread commenter.

Need to get use to strafe glide since I've never swapped off burst glide for years. It feels really slow without heat rises and it feels too fast with heat rises. .-.

I have been using a very similar hunter strand build but with CYRTARACHNE'S FACADE and a Duality instead of glaive and I must say after some time I got very comfortable with it and now is my go to build for ToO.

I farmed for vengeful tonight and managed to get a 4/5 fibreglass, archers tempo, offhand, draw masterwork, unfortunately not elastic string but im not giving up

My best reply to this atm is to play it like you would use it in PvE. I would keep an eye on the AOE potential. I don't know the optimized way of playing it but have seen some people use it pretty well.

This is legit a cracked build. Tbh if you are running and gunning id say more resil is optimal

I saw you 3 months ago with Conditional Finality and Point of The Stag + Oathkeeper. I kinda have a question, I don't have strand subclass because I don't have Lightfall. Is there any good alternative subclass for Hunter?

The strand hunter is very specific that I don't think it has replacements.

have you tried ember of benevolence with heat rises, since it gives cure to allies?

IIRC Hands-On doesn't work in PvP (neither does Ashes To Assets). This is what the Destiny Data Compendium says, which is a community-made resource, so it's not infallible, but I can't find anything saying they're wrong either. I'll edit this if I find patch notes from bungie saying they changed them to not work in PvP

try Ember of Benevolence for trials, with phoenix dive and healing nades its just crazy ability spam + you dont need to invest in strength for melee uptime

yea I tried this initially but ended up not wanting to rely on close allies.

I don't think Thread of Transmutation is that useful. I don't have it in my build, but I create tangles all the time. Either from suspended final blows or spike final blows. Also, the artifact mod helps this season. These type of kills are usually pretty close range, so easy access to the tangle too, unlike tangles created by possible longrange bow shots. Keep in mind, tangles have a cooldown. So, in that sense, this fragment could be counterproductive. I think I'd choose Thread of Mind or even possibly Thread of Wisdom over it. I guess you do miss out on +10 strength.

i havent tested or seen anyone show but is that fragment that buffs super tracking worth it for daybreak?

Mobility helps with strafing speed which means you can go side to side much quicker making enemies miss many more shots

Reaper and Bomber do not activate on suspend, warlock air dive or titan side dash. The game only registers the standard class ability actions for those types of mods. look at your grenade energy when you suspend or dodge, it will only work for a normal dodge/ class ability

You can see an instant energy increase when dodging but the energy stays the same when you suspend or warlock air dive .

Raconteur from season of defiance, if not that, then I think biting winds from beyond light would work, if neither of those, then idk.

You dont need resilience if you dont get hit. 🎯

I have the 5/5 nf adept bow, might have to try this terminal illness build at some point before bow nerfs I don't think militias birthright is in rotation, is it? Pardon our dust will have to do for me I guess.

Bows need to get nerfed to the ground. Genuine cancer that sucks the fun out of any lobby the instant they are used. Hell you might as well download a russian aimbot and you'll accurately replicate the experience of using one.
