Showed videos of him hanging onto her chest just like he would have done his own mother. When her last human child was born a couple of months ago she no longer had time for Koca and released him in the park. He has no clue how to be a monkey, he was raised like a human child. Konthea would take food to the park and feed the monkeys in the Amari and Amber troop, trained them to sit in her lap, crawl all over her and even eat out of her mouth!! When the monkeys approached tourists and expected the tourist to let them sit in their lap, crawl all over them and eat out of their mouth and hand, the tourist yelled ATTACK!! The monkeys ATTACK ME, all the monkeys were doing is what Konthea taught them to do. She trained them to sit in her lap, eat out of her mouth, crawl all over her while her husband Navy Tube/Dom filmed it and posted it on KZread for money. Konthea, Navy Tube/Dom and Mr. Lin are the reason the monkeys in the Amari and Amber troop were captured by CFA and removed for "ATTACKING" tourists when all they were doing is what Konthea taught them. They should be banned from the park for their abuse and what they have done and what they are currently doing.

They were taken to Phnom Tamao for quarantine which is a govt facility but run by WA . I don’t think you have any idea who or what WA is except gossip spread by VOs because WA has made public statements against them . I will enlighten you . WA is an international NGO - non governmental organization - with its HQ in New York and Washington DC. It was founded by Suwanna Gauntlett in 1996. She also created the Wildlife Rapid Rescue Team WRRT in 2000 which has been responsible for saving 60,000 animals and the arrest of over 3000 poachers and traffickers. Because of this Phnom Tamao was overwhelmed with rescued wildlife and up till then was known as “ the place where wildlife go to die”. Suwanna got together a team of veterinarians and animal husbandry specialists. They provided technical assistance to the government putting in place feeding regimens and care protocols. Phenom Tamao is now known as the foremost wildlife rescue center in the region. Suwanna and WA have been featured in media outlets such as CNN, BBC, The Discovery Channel, National Geographic, the New York Times magazine and other global media outlets. I very much doubt that they are motivated to do something to drum up publicity.

@ Alf. They have already made enough money to retire. Look at the old videos of Lin. Every time you see him he has a brand new beautiful shirt on. This is a successful business and they will continue it. I guess Kontheas has retired now However I will day if it wasn't for these businesses I wouldn't know about the lives of these beautiful creature. I hope down the line something good can come of it like a sanctuary for all the monkeys in need. They say in a true sanctuary it can take years to prepare the monkeys for release and they know they can come bàck if it doesn't work out, I have watched a lot of African videos. It seems like Cambodia doesn't càre. They cull them on a regular basis yet they want to keep them too for the industry part plus they are valuable for reseeding the Forest, selling to labs etc. All brings in money for Cambodia. It isn't just the channels making money. The government could get rid of all of them if they wanted . I have watched them right on film killing monkeys with poison arrows during cullings. Don't be fooled. This goes on regularly and not by the cameramen. It's by the authorities. So keep that in mind. And they do it indiscretions of who they kill. Amari group was left with 6 and no king.

Finally, someone who sees thru this BS! Lin, Konethea and Song all run a monkey ring and have been supplying all of the horror houses with babies. Part of their court mandate was to return all of the monkeys to the park. But even now they know how to manipulate public opinion. Making it look like how wonderful they are feeding them. When in truth it continues to slow down their integration into the troops. They have to leave and never come back, or the babies will continue to suffer anxiety every single day. It’s so cruel

That's when the deluge of monkey videos started. I've heard that the VOs must also pay him a certain percentage of what they make, but I have no proof of this, just what a couple of the VOs told me a long time ago.

If you noticed one adult monkey at the beginning was chasing the little ones away. Out of the hundreds of pets released how few have survived. As the monkeys get older the money starts to dry up. The way it always happens. Their is a newer channel called Nov Angkor who just makes short videos feeding the monkeys more quality expensive foods seems to really care about the monkeys. His videos are short and he doesn't run KZread commercials and he is an excellent photographer with good cameras. Worth while watching just for his beautiful photography.

Its not completely wildlife, it temple, public place where many visitor come, many monkey youtubers, and people come to see and give monkey food (even they were suggested never feed the monkey, bacause make them become lazy and life depend human)

They weren’t hauled away they went to Phnom Tamao for quarantine then released far away where the VOs could t find them the video is on YTthe video of them in quarantine is from Siem Reap Daily News and then the long journey to release site

Nope. Whole release is fake. After all the fuss is over and the video and pics are done, they will simply take them back to where they were and we'll start seeing "Amazing, monkeys find their way back!" videos. These guys aren't about to give up their cash cows. Or in this case, cash monkeys.

How exactly were these monkeys abused? The guy who owned them before seemed to genuinely love them. That's what people don't seem to be able to comprehend. I'm assuming that like me, you live in a country where there aren't any monkeys, or at least not many, so you have this image in your head of camouflaged AK toting poachers hunting down endangered species for profit. Monkeys are everywhere in Thailand. It would be like someone where I live picking up a rabbit off the side of the highway and raising it at home. It's normal in their culture. Whether or not we approve of it or have vastly misguided open ions of it is irrelevant. People do actually love their pet monkeys the same way we love our pets, but they get called monsters just because people in 1st world countries with too much time on their hands want to pass judgement on something that honestly isn't an issue

Sad but a great point you make. You know this wears on them . Only thing this little pack of monkeys got going for them is at least thier not alone. At least they have their own little pack to stick with there in the wild

@@jamesmeehan5033 Yes that's what truly horrifies me! All of us immigrants have felt terribly alone at some point or the other, hoping, praying to get on an even keel. What must those little babies feel, who are fed, bathed, clothed and loved (transactional, of course) and then abandoned to live in the wild, without any resources? Even if these camera guys are living off these poor animals, isn't it better that we subsidize these little ones in some way, so that these creatures remain in the periphery somewhere and not maimed and swallowed by their wild brethren? It's such a moral dilemma, and one that those of us who have come away from our homes, feel more acutely it seems.
