Bro your Matrix is phat! I'm rocking an 05' Matrix XR. I wish it was the XRS but I got a decent deal and it only had 102,000 on it. Just upgraded the sound system. Looking to get some wheels for it soon. Think I am forever a Toyota fan!

I have a 03 XRS (arctic silver w/ the 17" wheels and slick top) and its my baby! I got it SUPER cheap with a messed up engine, so I JDM 2ZZ swapped from a Toyota Fielder, fresh oem clutch, oem water pump, seals, all that. I never see myself letting go of it, they are so rare. Lucky to find one for less than $7500 in good condition. The prices are going thru the ROOF for the XRS's!

Yeap sadly I say I had to sell mine! Fully built stroker! It was sweet but living was more important. Just grateful I had it the time I did have it.

Damn yours is looking mint! Got myself an 03’ Xrs I’m scavenging for all oem TRD parts gonna make it into a full trd spec xrs.

Good choice on the AVID 1 wheels we run those on one our '03 VIbe GTs! Sharp looking Matrix you got there definitely digging that hood!

It's kinda weird because at first i knew it, looked like a crossover to me so, then I recall that Golf became that massive.

I had a 03 matrix first one in area where I lived...I took engine put stroker kit from monkeywrench racing...put dart sleeves wisco pistons crower rods new crank 10.5 to 1 compression..it was sweet had to sell it bummer 2zz xrs model. it was paid for too. bought it new end of 02..sad never really got to see the full potential of it...I know somebody out there had a blessing...I often wonder where it may be ?

liking the 04 xrs i own a 05 my self slowly putting work into it

Nice ! Really Nice ! Thank you very much for this video. More than 50% of the cars on our roads are used JDM models. I was in the car import business for 15 years. I retired last year at age 65. The very first car I imported.......I own that. It is a 2003 Corolla Fielder wagon. The Z Aerotourer model. This comes with a 2ZZGE engine, rated at 190HP. Mine is automatic transmission with a 4-Speed manual mode. The JDM cars are limited at 180KPH. The speedo is graduated to 180KPH. My car passes 180 to an imaginary 190. I am doing 225,000kms. On the second set of Denso SK20. I replaced 1 coil-pack about18 months ago. Never done any major thing on the engine. Still runs beautifully in stock condition. The engine starts easily when cold. When the engine is hot, I have to tumble three times to start. Then no more problem. No one can find the reason. I have decided to live with it. Good channel. Keep it up. Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.

@@Andrewsnotes1 I was feeling you had Trini connections . Anyway, you're somewhat correct. While the highways are tolerable, the secondary roads keep deteriorating. A horror story from Grande to Mayaro, or San Fernando to Mayaro, or San Fernando to Point Fortin, & the Southern Main Road. The Government last excuse , " We had to spend the money on Covid19 rather than fix roads !" Be good pardner ! Trinidad & Tobago West Indies.

Yes xrs only came with rear disc brakes

Spoiler is long discontinued but replicas are made see other video of common questions I have all the details in there. Progress sway bar can still be purchased new through different online sites same with the megan racing coilovers
