Update...Cogswell Interchange Redevelopment Project Part 22 (Halifax, Nova Scotia)
Some big changes are coming to the Cogswell project. Barrington Street is being moved from the back of the waste water plant, to the front of it. You will enter that from the roundabout.
They are working on the part Cogswell from Albemarle Street to Brunswick Street. This will allow busses to use Albemarle Street again, which will be needed since the Scotia Square bus stops will be shut down with that section of Barrington Street. Other busses will be moved to Granville Street and Barrington Street. This will be a big adjustment for passengers while waiting for the new stops to be built on Barrington Street and Bells Lane.

Can't stop now. I need to film this until it is completed. Especially with the big changes coming. That big concrete wall coming down, new roads, new buildings, green spaces...
It will be so great to see that concrete wall come down along Water Street

It definitely will. That is why I wanted more shots of it for the before. And the shot between the parkades is one that I wanted as well. That will be the bottom of Cogswell so you will go from seeing a wall, to seeing up a good part of Cogswell Street.

I can't believe we are 22 videos in already.
Great footage. Big changes. it will be interesting to see what the new Barrington Street will look like when done. well done.

Thank you. I was able to picture a lot more of the changes yesterday. I also noticed today that the section of Barrington Street, behind the treatment plant, will become Poplar Street. I always wondered if the section on the North side of Brunswick Place and the parkade would become a street with the way it was left. Today I noticed that it will become a street called Proctor Street. There will be a building between it and the treatment plant, and another one on the other side of it that is larger. That will be in that new strip they put in last year to get down to the lights near the casino. It is becoming easier to visualize now.
