My German-Vietnamese friend entered the room when the “after” dress appeared on the video - Ho Lee Schitt. What a transformation! It looks like a very expensive evening dress. No one would believe that it was made of old sheer curtains and a thrifted dress. If someone had a formal event (like a prom), who would spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a dress when one can make an original dress for mere dollars + a little time? I also like how you made the bottom detachable to give more options with the garment. Well done!

Screech, hold on wait a minute......is this my first non-short KZread video I seen from you? (hearing me run to fridge open/shut door and grabbing my dinner and nuking). Ok, now I am ready, BRING IT! So, anything in the 50s got Cali acting like it beastly cold. teeHee! Oh fudge yall she taking us thrifting with her (It must be my birthday, well it really was on the 8th). Yes, I did see the finish dress on the KZread short. I was leaning towards grabbing all that material and layering it over the skirting of the dress in tiers because that skirt after the fact could be used also as a dress or skirt since elastic would have been at top. Must admit I would have turned some of that sheer fabric into a wrap, since you went without gloves. Great look though.

@@MiairaJennings One more thought: if the fullness of a wrap detracts from that lovely skirt, then maybe a form fitting shrug? And if the fabric is a little scratchy, you could line it with a soft gauze the color of your skin. Then it would look invisible.
