Church has been on some wild stuff lately. Making videos on “secret ancient language” saying Nashville was a second Egypt and Egypt was owned by Rome. Making weird videos about lightbulbs...strange way to get attention but whatever. So far as his beef with Tom. He put a video on ig about Toms song the system when Tom and Adam were promoting the brave 2 calling it demonic and calling Tom a tourist. He put a video on KZread with a clip from this house calling Tom a Satanist. He’s upset about the song with John Rich, saying they were making fun of country folk. That tweet he’s butthurt about also was a joke. Tom put that out when he was surprised that one of his songs made country charts. Tom has always mixed genres (Church makes music in different genres too) Tom has never claimed to live a country lifestyle(not since he was a kid) Church is on this kick about whose more country. He’s been taking shots at Struggle and Jelly too. The only one he hasn’t turned on yet is Adam. I won’t be too surprised if that happens too. Feel bad for him really, but he lost my respect along time ago. The rodney family stuff...beefing with his parents on line.... just to name two things.

And? You do realize Tom was raised in Alberta? It's known as the Texas of the North. Go listen to his song from 8 years ago, called Number 7. Tom may live in CA now, but he was raised in the country. Ryan doesn't own or have the monopoly on Country Rap. That's the same as saying Ryan shouldn't do Rock. It's silly. A true artist experiments with different genres of music. It's called growth.

It's like saying a painter shouldn't try sculpting. 🙄 Have you ever heard a rock artist tell Ryan to 'stay in his country rap lane' when he's done rock tracks? I doubt Tom will clap back. Tom has said that he would not do another dis track. He did not feel good about the Mac Lethal battle when it was over. Watching some of Church's lives, I feel he is struggling with some mental health issues. He has spoken publicly about how him and Tom are friends. Maybe there is some jealousy over him and Adam working together since they were always tight. As far as Tom saying he would do country music, if you go way back before Dream People and the Whisky Wars, he had an album named Therapy. It had a country vibe to it. As we know, Thomas likes to switch lanes on us. He also has another one coming up with John Rich. If it were to happen, it would definitely be epic.

Church been cooking this up for a while, but the timing of the drop was smart on his part. Tom is busy promoting the last song(which in my opinion was a beautiful troll) Church will drop at least one more diss track on Tom before he gets any kind of response. It’s a good bait track but there’s nothing behind it, especially since Tom has never said anything disrespectful about Church and Church publicly was supportive of Tom until Tom and Adam started making albums together. Adam maintains that he’s friends with both of them. The bit about shows and the covid mask...Church played one of Tom’s songs at one of shows a year or two back and teased them doing a show together, but it never happened. The mask...when covid hit Tom and Nova locked down tight because of her health issues.

A guy that came from nothing and built himself a successful career and a name in music doing what he loves. Giving back to his community and helping other local artists realize their dreams? Ya, I can see why you'd think he is an embarrassment 🤦‍♀️ And as far as Adam being next to him, so what? Adam didn't have creative direction in that video. That's all him and Nova. Read the credits. ACal did his contractual part as a featured artist and showed up for a video. But Adam has also lived the life he raps/sings about. Ryan knows that. I’m not sure that is something Ryan would do though… If I only had these two options to pick from I’d lean toward planned, but anything is possible.

Church whole thing is twisting words and taking things out of context because it will hit if you don’t know better. I don’t see the fence sitting meaning much. He isn’t Republicans or Democrat...so what.

Tom isn’t country rap. Calhoun is and isn’t depending on the pocket he wants to sit in... Chicago and the outskirts is where he’s coming at things from. Keep in mind when I’m saying he’s on toms level I was referring to size of fandom and popularity. Both these guys have millions of fans and both fanbases have a lot of overlap with each other. One may have more musical accolades than the other, but both these guys are titans in their respective lanes. Essentially this isn’t a Grizzy Hendrix situation was the point I was trying to make.
