People tend to forget that EVAN NELLE was the BEST POINT GUARD in the NCAA back in season 95 at only his SECOND YEAR, it just happens that they lost in the finals to Letran. He would not have left San Beda if it weren't for sports politics. I wasn't surprised when he hit those shots and threes, in fact I was waiting for this kind of game from him :) Good game and good win.

its probably due to his slow start in the first round, even me was surprised he has not adapted to the system. good thing he's peaking since the 2nd round. ang nawala si Nonoy.

Grabe yung value ni Mike Phillips sa DLSU. Hustle parin kahit na-boxoutan na. Kudos to UP too for fighting until the last second. Great match.

Ganda ng laro DLSU, simula ng laro ginawa na ng mga player ang game plan, nagpasahan at hinanap ang mga open na kakampi. Sa UP balik sa normal game isa pasa biyahe, kanya-kanya at meron pa star. Nasa isip nila pagnatalo meron pa isa laro. parang masaya na sila na natalo nila Ateneo last game. Do or Die match on Friday.

that choke on the end is concerning if you are a la salle fan. up will make adjustments. they are not a team that will allow itself to go out against la salle

@@pma2685 UP had a hot shooting game. DLSU didn’t, they just dominated the paint. That’s not something that will just disappear. So yes it is concerning.

@@167kinggam Its called having a bad game it doesnt disappear in a day yes but there is such thing as waking up at the wrong side of the bed like I said DLSU earlier had a hot shooting game dont get me twisted with saying that they didnt Nelle fired from 3 like there wasnt a tomorrow.

UAAP is levelling up...ang ganda ng mga laban..kahit talo yung UP, atleast na upset nila yung Ateneo, now other teams will try to do what they've done to beat the Blue Eagles. That is why UAAP is now levelling up, Ateneo has the most solid game plan sa collegiate level and they even expose their players sa mga international competetion to boost their morale. Not even mentioning their coach who had a great strategy for his players.

Of course their rotation is broken.

When UP made it to the finals in 2018, they were underdogs. In their first taste of having twice-to-beat advantage in 2019, they missed out the finals. They need to get used to being in the favorites position and have the killer instincts in such a position.

Nelle of La Salle (San Beda) moves a lot like 90's PBA star Boybits Victoria. Not as acrobatic and athletic as Victoria but shoots the 3-point better---and Victoria was a pretty good 3-point shooter.
