Hi everyone! If you're interested, I've posted an update video on this railroad crossing where you can find out whether or not the smacking crossing gate has been fixed. The "road closed" sign was removed and a "private railroad crossing" sign was installed on the metal fence right in front of the crossing. Although these changes aren't visible in the update video, I was able to revisit this crossing on April 7, 2020 and film here again where I noticed the changes took place.

It's been awhile since I've seen this video. I loved how there was no freight cars on either train lol. The gate has probably set a world record on the fastest gate coming down and hit the ground about as hard as a bowling ball getting a strike.

The crossing itself is fully functional and activates whenever a train passes by. The road that goes through the crossing though is closed.

It always makes me nervous when two trains pass closely. They always make it though. :) I enjoyed the video and subbed.

I have no idea why the road is closed maybe they made it private or something. That gate should be fixed but they haven't until now! :)

New Zealand has WCH e-bells and they used to use the original ring pace for a long time, but they’re now as slow as what you can hear on tis video

I'm not sure why this crossing is closed, but it's been like that for quite a while. The crossing is currently still in place, with the lights and gates working normally. The fencing and "road closed" signs are still in place. I do not know of any plans to remove this crossing, but if anything changes I will make an update video on this crossing.

No, they weren't on the same track. They were each on different tracks, it's just that the second train used the track right next to the track that the first train used. That's why it probably seemed that both trains were on the same track.

This crossing is underneath the Pacific Coast Highway bridge in Wilmington, CA. It’s just east of Alameda St.

It was great timing when the road gate goes down when the train horn started the second time when the train horn honked it looked like the railroad crossing was pulling a horn

When a Railraod crossing gate does that it means something on it is broken or Either that it needs a new Bulb

I agree, but for whatever reason the city has maintained the crossing closed. I have no idea why, but if this crossing were open, cars would be able to access the parking lot located on the other side of the tracks.
