Great song! A couple of mistakes on the lyrics though 1. chorus- words messed up: your reign is coming down. i'm not gonna drown but rise up 2. second verse- you had dots. i'm pretty sure that means that you weren't sure,but here are the correct lyrics: Tearing up the past don't want your negativity. Choosing different thoughts so you'll never get to me. 3. bridge- Same thing like the one in the second verse. Here is what i think the lyrics are: I'm finally waking (up) Yeah time to shake it (up) Things are looking (up, up,up) other than those mistakes it was pretty accurate. By the way, I think that all the songs in Star Darlings have a pretty powerful message. Also i get a sense that this song is from the perspective of a person who is being bullied.

Wynter Houston eh...while true in some ways not really. If one looks at the entire song as a whole and would think that it was written is the perspective of a person who was bullied and is now standing up for what she believes in and if the bully this song is addressed to is a popular girl then it will make more sense for it to be reign instead of rain. Like the songwriter was referring to the bully's reign over everyone beneath her and that the victim would do whatever it takes to make sure that the bully's reign over her is crumbled and that she would stand up for herself instead of drowning in her tyranny.
