Finaly I am planing to fabricate an up front sub to bridge the gap between my IB subwoofer and midbass drivers and hopefully to get rid of the nasty cancelation at the crossover point.

Will this be used with a mono signal in tandem with the subwoofer? How will this impact time alignment?
When you set crossovers for the front sub will it overlap the main sub and mid woofer or will it cut in between them?

is there a way we use good door speakers to play down till 40 Hz and from there on can we use the ib sub to get away with canceling at 68-70Hz What test mic do you use for measurements, i would like to purchase one for my diy build
