Hiya Simon, first off how's Mrs M?, no ill effects we trust. The age of steam is not dead, just resting. And as long as people care about the past, they will live on. Hey, Simon the walking videos are great, but what say one day you let the train take the strain. Sure you must have a heritage line near by. Lovely to see dear old Eric Treacy( whom so ever he be🤔) Tally 🐎🦊ho Allan&Family

Black 5 loco, beautiful. Powerful piece of kit, top speed recorded was 98mph for one of those (I cheated and looked that up on t'internet). Living breathing machine capable of that, best part of 90 years ago, have we come a long way? Jury's out on that one.
@david-stewart
Decent acceleration

IF you and Mrs. M get to the USA, stop at the train station in Durango, Colorado. They do daily Silverton steam/diesel out and back trips. The trip takes you up into the Rocky Mountains with views of the San Juan National Forest. It about a 3 1/2 hour trip.
