I can understand that we are here on this earth for the cat race. They spend a great amount of energy herding us throughout our house. It is like the relationship between us and the cattle and sheep that Bennet discussed. That is we are the stock animals and the shepherds and ranchers are the cats. Just like they are herded through vast acres of earth, cats herd us through the house. The cattle and sheep produce leather when they die and wool when alive. In the same way we produce cat toys with our own money but for cats it’s free. When we die we if not careful produce vegetables….

He speaks beautifully, but actually it is pure degeneration. He speaks like all Modernists who believe they are on a wonderful new journey and are superior to the fools of the past who believed Earth was the center and "now we know" better because we are superior. In fact this is the opposite of Gurdjieff's teaching which is that in the past men KNEW what life was and their sense of being in the center was because they were Real. But yes he speaks beautifully.

Interesting take. Im still new to Gurdjieff, and I don't know much about Bennetts work yet, but I will take your word for it. At least for now lol. I might disagree in the future after I learn more, who knows.
