I love the bag and am about to make the small for gift. I just have a question about seam allowance size. Trying to figure out how 16 x 14 makes a 12 x 11 bag.

I love making this bag. Just changing up fabric changes it all. Stack 4 lowering the top two by 2 inches. Form pockets inside and out.
