About the speaker: Ustadh Hisham Abu Yusuf is completing his BA in Islamic Studies at Al Azhar University in Egypt, and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from University of Nottingham. He studed Arabic and the Islamic sciences traditionally in the UAE. He was the Muslim Chaplain at University of Nottingham and is the Academic Director for Roots Academy, delivering structured essential Islamic education to university students across the country.

Translation: "In this way We showed Abraham [God’s] mighty dominion over the heavens and the earth, so that he might be a firm believer. When the night grew dark over him he saw a star and said, ‘This is my Lord,’ but when it set, he said, ‘I do not like things that set.’ And when he saw the moon rising he said, ‘This is my Lord,’ but when it too set, he said, ‘If my Lord does not guide me, I shall be one of those who go astray.’ Then he saw the sun rising and cried, ‘This is my Lord! MashaAllah Brother Hisham is a lovely guy. I've met him quite a few times when he was a engineering postgraduate at Nottingham University and delivered many khutbahs there as well as delivering them in a couple of masjids in Nottingham

It’s not a chant it’s called the Quran the words of the creator of the heavens and the earth the most merciful, Allah(God)

Strive to come to Cambridge masjid first then in sha allah, allah will also give you a place in Cambridge University. People strive to become doctors and engineers but they don’t want to be the Imaam in the masjid. Strive for both. 😊

The other way to know Allah swt is by full implementation of Islam.
The quran is not a creation of Allah like the other creations. Quran is the speech and attribute of Allah.
