If you were to build your own custom Stratocaster, what would you include?

I think I’m gonna order a Warmouth neck 12 inch Radius Clapton V profile reverse big headstock and pickup a fender made in Mexico body, HSS of course, and use Dimarzio area Series 61 and 58 followed by a Dimarzio Fred for the Humbucker bridge and mirror pickgaurd, one volume knob , 5 way switch and 1 mini toggle for out of Phase for the neck pickup and maybe a Vega trim or the Wilkinson you used on your build.

I built a Custom Shop Strat thru the Fender Custom Shop. Alder body with Ultra heel, white with polyurethane finish. AAA Birdseye maple neck and finger board. Locking Fender tuners. Gotoh 510 bridge. Lollar Sixty Four's in the neck and middle and a Lollar High-Wind Imperial bridge humbucker. Traditional 5 way switch wiring with orange drop capacitors. It is an amazing hot-rodded Strat. :-)

I have been watching your videos a bit lately. Giving them likes has put ya in my feed. I’m REALLY enjoying your Kemper videos and your tones. You absolutely have ears to dial in the golden tones. You selling the profiles? On another note, l’m in the process of building a 3 single coil Strat. Blessings and looking forward to more videos.

All those guitars sound great to me. I think you stumbled on a combination that just kind of works. Kemper patches sounds excellent too. When live, do you just go direct with it?

Thanks Adam! Stumbled is the exact right word too LOL!!!!! I run the Kemper direct, and I come out of the Monitor outs into a Line 6 Powercab, the 2x12 version. Best of both worlds! Thank you for watching!

Really killer build in my Opinion and very versatile, I too love a 12 inch radius but my biggest problem is I like 50s fatter necks so in a strat that means Either an SRV neck that has the 12 inch radius or the Eric Clapton that has the soft V , but I really like the build you did I too like the big headstock.

Thank you! These guitars have proven super versatile and reliable. Between them I’ve played well over a thousand gigs, many in the South Carolina heat and humidity and they keep performing well! Thanks for watching!

I like everything except JB. I use PAF style pickups on a bridge position of my strats. Much better ballance and better chug

Ya know, I've never really spent any time playing PAFs (I know, and I call myself a guitarist????). I need to grab one and frop it in a guitar and check it out! Thanks for your kind words and thanks for watching!

Subscribed. I wanna love a Strat but I just can't. I've tried. I'm a Les Paul kinda guy. You make those guitars sound great though. It's all rock n roll.

Thank you! I’ve been a Strat guy for quite a while but played LTD EC1000’s for several years. Since then I’ve been much more comfortable with a flatter, Les Paul type radius. Thats why I’ve used Strat necks with 12” radius instead of the standard 9.5” radius of most Strats. Thanks for watching, and for the sub!
