For the Double Parallelogram Mechanism to work, both the top pivot and bottom pivots would need to be synchronized and rotated exactly by the correct number of degrees each way, to maintain linear movement of the bottom parallelogram edge. Is that correct?

Blender works OK. It's more of an artsy farty program, but it's free and can be used to create perfectly good and functional mechanical components.

i have learned solidworks command and made few projects now i will try these mechanisms would learning solid works be fruitful or not i don't know any firm that provide jobs to solidworks professionals can you tell about the career opportunities after learning these softwares

It works in the simulator, in real life some do, but they have to be highly lubricated and are somewhat useless
