@@con4478 Birds are 3rd most common pets after dogs and cats... but its always only about cats and dogs... it often pains me how mainly Budgies are neglected because its a pretty bird to look at... that is often closed in a small cage never let out. Often screamed at by people because they scream... they need affection just as dogs and cats if not even more because how social birds are... Why people see birds as objects or something easily replacable... i will never understand and it pains me so much. Sorry for the rant i just had to say it.

It's anecdotal but I had the same thing happen in high school. During a huge house party where loads of people were smoking, one of my roommate's cats had a seizure. The cat never had any issues beforehand and we were careful to never expose them to weed again afterward. Luckily the cat seemed to recover fine but holy shit was that a scary night.
