i like to imagine the beginning of the song would start off as a cutscene where mario slowly floats into the air and is surrounded by sparkles, then the faster part where the pitch changes is when you'll gain control of mario again and you're able to run fast like this lol

as far as i know, there are no mods for this theme being used, but it was a scrapped starman theme for super mario 127 (which is a fangame)
