On top of that persona 5 you flat out kiss but no it's too inappropriate for persona 3 because atlus said so even though teenagers commit suicide to summon a being that could look like a penis, a naked angel, succubus and more. Atlus makes so much sense

No idea why they left out this "hug scene", considerating this scene appears on P3FES and P3P.

I think it’s more so she didn’t know how to properly respond to the suddenness of the hug. Which is very human-like considering she’s a robot lol

This actually more meaningful because of the whole FES Scenario. I won't spoil for those who haven't play the Original P3 FES or reload one, but for the ones who do. You know what i mean

Yeah, there were a number of animations from the original Persona 3 that were cut in Reload (I’m guessing they couldn’t rig the models right or they just didn’t bother to save time); other examples of this are: *•* The Fuuka Social Link not having a hug like in the original game *•* In Maiko’s Social Link Rank 5 (the one where she cries because her dad hit her) in the original game, it started with her running and tackling the Protagonist to hug him while crying *•* During the night before the final battle with Nyx when all of SEES walked Koromaru to the shrine, Junpei and Fuuka were playing in the monkey bars in the shrine’s playground; the original, Fuuka was trapped in them while Junpei was giving her directions to get out but in Reload Fuuka is clearly hanging on top of them (based on Junpei still giving directions as if Fuuka is trapped inside, I think the script was treating like Fuuka was trapped inside) *•* In the original game during Rescue Fuuka Operation, when we went back to Mitsuru and Yukari after the Emperor and Empress defeated them, the Emperor Shadow was holding Mitsuru in his hand, leading to the anime cutscene where Fuuka awakens her Persona and Empress hits her with her sceptre but hitting Lucia blocks and bounces back the blow causing the Empress to fall down and accidentally knock over the Emperor who drops Mitsuru from his hand

If I had to hazard a guess, probably because you can't hug the others in the same manner or because she pushes you away, which can be misconstrued for lack of consent despite her words.

And to be honest, that’s true for pretty much most of the girls in any game . Yukiko , Haru , Futaba , rise, Ann sumire yukari, and chie . Even if you don’t pursue them, they will still have a crush on you . And once again if I reject her, and I choose mitsuru I don’t want her to be on rooftop with me I want my girlfriend. like get out of here I don’t want you.

would be awesome to see a interactions between various androids from other franchises (18&17, KOS-MOS, atom, kikaider)

Damn they really missed this opportunity. I know they wanted to be faithful to the original but I think Reload should've had characters express their affection more like in 4 and 5. It's a bit awkward to see characters just standing there during their confession.

Hmm, I'm trying to figure out why this was removed, but, I just don't see a reasoning behind it. It actually makes the scene much better, so, idk. Maybe, the fact that she pushes you at the end, maybe there was original intent for her to reject you. Saying something like "I'm a machine and you're a human, this cannot work, I'm sorry, etc etc." That's the only thing I can think of, who knows.

It was in the FES and Portable versions of the game, so that's probably not it. If I had to guess, I would assume one of three possibilities. 1) It looks questionable from a consent perspective. It's not within context, of course - Aigis wants Makoto to hug her but she's still going through the whole "BUT IM NOT A REAL GIRL" thing - but out of context it might look iffy. 2) This is the only S. Link hug in the game that requires a camera angle shift, and there may have been issues regarding that. 3) They just flat ran out of time and cut it figuring that Aigis and Makoto already got a non-optional hug in the main story anyway (at Yakushima).

Aww, look at how fucking animated that was! She's like a scared rabbit or something. I can kinda understand why this was removed though. Because she really does look frightened there, then the little push is almost like rejection. Understandable behavior, completely understandable, but not quite needed for the social link. Should have put it into a bonus date or something.

I don’t get atlus man, So many of the Confessions scenes and Relationships feel so lacking in the game itself that only yukari and mitsuru I think has a hug. Could have made each confession unique rather than what we got, Makes it feel like nothing happened at all
