I'm gonna be completely honest, I'm gonna keep it brief because, I'm not really someone to just dump all their personal stuff in a comment section. tl;dr, my best friend passed away about 8 months ago, and I have been reflecting a lot on it... the guilt is really coming up now. And ever since he's gone, I've been less and less involved, to the point where it feels like everyone turns their backs towards me? Don't read stupid old books, don't listen to fools on the internet like me, just follow what you want, with no fear of some supernatural being judging you based on its own morality that we are supposed to just accept is not only objective but also the only "right" one. From a supernatural being that punishes finite crimes with infinite suffering and "good" people with eternal happiness in a test that it created to test its own creation that already knows how it will turn out because it's both all-powerful and omniscient (so it can see the future, past everything, and knows exactly what will happen if it creates you in an X way). Free will and this being are also not compatible by the logic of this cosmos. In short, please do not encourage religion; it's historically and in modern-day just a pain in the ass for all humanity, whether they are aware of it or not. In social progress, technological progress, scientific progress... basically human progress. I wrote this long comment, but hopefully, you actually consider this.
