It felt like we invited the author to LISTEN to a book review. I feel deprived. I really wanted to hear Doyle speak MORE. Drew is great, but PLEASE let the author speak.

Drew Barrymore gushes about the book while Glennon Doyle looks pleased and gets a word in every few minutes

I love the show and its a beautiful conversation but Drew should let the floor for the invitee a little more. Ask more questions to Glennon Doyle because she have so much insightful & wise truths to share.

This made me cry ❤ Thank you, Drew, for spreading joy.

I have the ebook and am reading it now! So excited to see the woman behind the book.

Just have to say this, I'm a pisces too and I'm excited to read this book.

Glennon Doyle is good example of how neuroticism is not only getting you into trouble, but earns you a lot of money

This must be a rich white woman thing. This conversation and the description of this book is all very hand-wavey. The only point I agree with is that sober life is uncomfortable, hard, and painful, but necessary and where life actually begins.

Rich white women?? She’s talking about being your true self, and not what others, family or society want or expect you to be. And that it’s hard to be the black sheep or go against the flow. I don’t think that has to do with race or money.
