This is a stunning interpretation. Great music taste from everyone, these students really have great teachers. Lovely sopranos, they sing with passion. The violinists did a great job, a lovely "period" manner of playing without seeming too academic. I am not sure about few sharp/flat notes in the vocal parts but - overall - they did an amazing job. Bravi davvero.

the flat and sharp moments in the vocal parts are due to the performers being human beings haha

Marvellous! The youthful and clean voices give this rendering a glow that pro choirs often can't deliver. Very promising young musicians! I'm sure they will gain technical mastery over time.

I find this Buxtehude work incredibly solemn but very plastic at the same time. Many "skilled" academic performances tend to lose this character, I think this one finds the same and shows it brilliantly. The other performance I remember that explores this same direction is Gardiner's one with English Baroque soloists. Great work!!
