Abaddon cleaved the galaxy in two with his last crusade. I'd hardly call that a failure. Now people like to crap on Abaddon for apparently not winning the previous 12 Dark Crusades, but it strikes me that people failed to grasp that he played the long game and won by small increments that snowballed during the 13th to his ultimate victory.
