I know this pain all too well. Went through it too at the age of 44 years old. You can do it. Start with making your budget, be consistent, look for ways to decrease or cut un necessary costs and spending. Sometimes you might need to say “no”. Make needs a priority. If you have wants then budget and save for them as a quarterly reward so you’re not feeling as though you cannot treat yourself. Reach out if you need support and encouragement. Blessings.

One of your biggest fans. Watch your videos as soon as they come out! Question: when you put the money in the banks do they go to separate bank accounts? How do you ensure you don’t overspend the $$ in the bank. The reason I do cash stuffing is because the separate envelopes keeps me from overspending. Keep doing what you are doing.

I would bet it goes into a savings account that she disciplines herself not to access, especially since it earns interest (HYSA) for her. These are funds that she may not need immediately, for the most part. that's a discipline I'm trying to develop.😬😒😖😫

So? For your car insurance, do you leave it in The HYSA, and then take out for your insurance

I have a question...and I'm sorry if this has been addressed before but when you get to the amount you want for the sinking fund and put the money in the bank, do you have multiple savings accounts such as one for car maintenance, one for Christmas, and so forth? Or is all of the money in one account and you keep track of it on paper of how much money goes to what category? Thank you in advance.

I guess she can check the amount in the envelope, place holder is in the bank. If she spends straight from the bank, she would have to deduct from her envelope. And that sheet she mentioned not updating would be part of that I guess. Makes me want to just do a spreadsheet though. 😂
