When Jesus died on the cross did God die? People will perish because of lack of knowledge! God is SPIRIT, which obviously explains, for example, why God can be everywhere at the same time, right? Jesus also further stated: "God is SPIRIT, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24). The Word is SPIRIT. The Word was not created through Mary but merely took the form of a man through Mary. The Word has always existed in ETERNITY as SPIRIT and as the Son (John 3:16) [before Mary, John the Baptist and before Abraham (Micah 5:2, John 1:15, John 8:56-58]. In fact, everything was created THROUGH the Word (John 1 :10), "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. The WORD BECAME FLESH and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:1‭, ‬3‭, ‬10‭, ‬14). YOU were created through the Word. The Word is worshiped therefore not as a man, but as spirit-as God. So when Jesus the "God-man" died, it was the man-his body-that died. The man had become joined to his divine nature. It was the FLESH that died, not the SPIRIT. "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to DEATH IN THE FLESH but made ALIVE IN THE SPIRIT, in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water.(1 Peter 3:18‭-‬20). I converted in December 2021, and spent about 10 years active. Then I got injured and was very much alone and returned to the Christian Church, but Islam has never left my heart. Right now I am strongly leaning to wanting to be active in Islam, partake in prayers at the Mosque, and connect with everything Islam and Muslims.

I am also a reverts from bottom part of India, Kerala from Catholic. At first I was the biggest anti-Islamist. So a conversation with a Muslim friend on social media led me to Islam. I had no answers to any of his questions about the Bible. When I approached the priests, they could not answer many things. He also corrected many of my misconceptions about the Qur'an. He shared me many websites about Islam. I took my Shahada in June 2022.

I would have NEVER thought I’d ever accept Islam. But alhamdulillah I accepted Islam on 14 March. And alhamdulillah I accepted Islam right before Ramadan! It’s the morning of 14 May which is 2 months since I’ve become Muslim. I’ve given up drinking and if some of the other bad habits are still around, I can tell that Allah is helping me heal. I’ve made connections with brothers that will make a positive impact on my life. Now at 33 years old I’m looking at getting a career that I will enjoy and a wife and family inshallah. I just feel as though I’ve become a much different and better person.

I have just 3 most important question out of many... 1)Why would we follow a Prophet who don't even know what is going to happen to him after he die. [Quran 46:9] Say, "I am not different from the other messengers; and I do not know what will be done with me, or with you. I only follow what is inspired in me, and I am only a clear warner." (Bible Matthew 15 14Let them alone; they are blind guides.fn And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”) Qno2)why would we follow a religion that directly say even someone fully submit to God or no matter how good deeds they do they are going to Hell anyway why? [Quran Chapter 19] 71. There is not one of you but will go down to it(hell). This has been an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 72. Then We will rescue those who were devout, and leave the wrongdoers in it, on their knees. Q3)why would we follow a book that contradicts itself? Like it support the teaching of Bible and at the same time it says it is corrupted 🤔 [Quran Chapter 5) 46. In their footsteps, We sent Jesu son of Mary, fulfilling the Torah that preceded him; and We gave him the Gospel, wherein is guidance and light, and confirming the Torah that preceded him, and guidance and counsel for the righteous. 47. So let the people of the Gospel rule according to what God revealed in it. Those who do not rule according to what God revealed are the sinners. [Quran 5:69] Those who believe, and the Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians-whoever believes in God and the Last Day, and does what is right-they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve. [Quran 3:3] He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel. See why does your book says, does who go against the gospel are the sinners and you want us to be a sinner? [Quran 3:48] And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel.

Alhamdulillah, im a Revert Muslim 5 years back… i’m thankful to الله to have His guidance… 🤲🏻❤️

@@truthseeker02 well, just like most people who came to know Islam and Muslims from the media and propagandist, I had developed negative feelings and views of this religion and its followers…till I had personally meet true practicing Muslims at work and had witnessed in them the true and beautiful teachings of Islam. Asking them questions and being answered with clarity and directness, to seeing their humility and commitment in performing their 5 daily prayers amidst their hectic schedules had amazed me. The media and propagandist had misled me, indeed they are better people than everyone else. I have never seen a member of my church so dedicated and committed in obeying the teachings they claimed to believe, not even those who called themselves ‘religious’. This personal interactions with Muslims and the efforts I invested in reading about Islam and its teachings had changed my perspectives, and with The Guidance of Allah , I embraced Islam 16yrs ago and never looked back alhamdulillah.

Look at the verses that you mentioned. 5:20 Remember when Moses said to his people: 'My people, remember Allah's favour upon you when He raised Prophets amongst you and appointed you rulers, and granted to you what He had not granted to anyone else in the world. 29:27 and We bestowed upon him (offspring like) Isaac and Jacob, and bestowed prophethood and the Book on his descendants and granted him his reward in this world; he will certainly be among the righteous in the Hereafter.

I'm sure that's true, AliHamza-nn9jn, and the Qur'ān is your chief guidebook. Qur'ān 2:216’s “Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you” clearly means that Muslims are to advocate Islam by physically fighting. And no context at :216 suggests that that fighting is to be defensive, only. Qur'ān 5:33’s “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides” may sound defensive at first, but then directs Muslims to murder or crucify those who “strive to make mischief in the land,” which must mean murdering or crucifying mischief makers. And Qur'ān 8:17’s “It was not you who slew them, but Allah” grants absolution to those who do Islam’s killing. Whether offensively or defensively is not addressed. Qur'ān 8:67’s “It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah’s enemies] in the land” (the brackets of which are in the Sahih International translation) makes of Muhammad not only a man of war but an unnecessarily brutal one at that. And Muhammad’s example was and is still to be followed. Qur'ān 9:3's “Allah and His Apostle are free from liability to the idolaters” means that Muslims are free to do as they like to idolaters, which is sometimes translated “polytheists.” Shortly, Qur'ān 9:5 says “When the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush,” a clear exhortation to premeditated murder, and obviously not defensive. Qur'ān 9:29’s “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden...until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” recommends clearly offensive fighting that would surely result in death. Clearest of all, though, is Qur'ān 47:4’s “O True believers, when you encounter the unbelievers, strike off their heads,” which Al-Hajjaj bin Yousef cited in 712, eighty years after Muhammad’s death, to justify a slaughter of thousands in the Indus River valley’s Brahmanabad. There's a substantial part of your code.

Are you sure that you have got it right? If we examine way the Quran was transmitted, it was by a *single chain* of transmission: Allah tells an angel, the angel tells Muhammad, Muhammad tells the People, some is written on the leaves, stalks, animal bones, animal skins and some is memorised. Some years after Muhammad’s death, many of those who had memorised the Quran died in battle so after a war, the Quran was gathered together into one book. Some twenty years later, under the leadership of Othman, the book is rewritten in the Quraysh dialect only a single version of the Quran. And now there are 30 official versions all slightly different. Even the events of how the Quran was gathered into one book is via a chain of transmission and written around 250 years after the death of Muhammad. That is around 10 generations of stories being passed from parents to children. *For the Biblical version of events about the life of Jesus* there are 9 separate people’s testimonies: There are the 4 eyewitness accounts of Matthew, John, James and Peter. There are the accounts of Mark, Luke and Jude which are details gathered from eyewitness. Paul testimony is a combination of his own encounter with the risen Christ and the gathering of details from eyewitness. There is the account from writer of Hebrews who is unknown. There are also the prophetic accounts including: Moses, David, Nathan, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah etc. The New Testament testimonies are also have supporting testimonies of the First and second century church, writings that are so comprehensive and quote the scriptures so frequently that it is possible to reconstruct the whole of the New Testament from these writings alone. Whereas the Biblical account is a mesh of transmission with parallel accounts directly from eyewitness collaborated by other accounts including prophetic accounts and even hostile witnesses.*

@sugarcane Christian church had also done tonnes of atrocities in history all over the world. Their schools and hospitals are also essentially a business first mixed with a bit of charity. Hinduism has a lot of meat eaters and if you know about India, the far right uses the Jai Shree Ram chant as an offensive weapon. So basically, you are left to pick and choose from religions whatever suits you.

Every other system has been far superior to Islam. The entire world and everything in it with its technology and understanding doesn't come from your paedophile prophet or your evil god. It comes from intelligence and centuries of discovery in the western world that has sadly come to an end giving you savages a chance to rise up once again. In our fading culture due to it's decadence is the last remnants of decency, civility and progress before you sub 80 iq sub humans breed the world to death. The west will collapse but I am certain that the eastern powers like china, japan and russia will destroy Islam forever.

The 4 factors why people convert to Islam mentioned here: 1- The Quran and Prophethood 2- Islam gives answers 3- Islam Solves many of today's problems (racism, poverty, etc) 4- Islam is a Practical way of life Just my opinion, I do find the third and fourth point is more or less the same. Why would he reward me? Isnt my life enough? Is his job to create me, then protect me, then reward me, then is he for me or I am for him? Let him create, I will protect his creations in my own way, and its my duty I am free, so is he, doing our own jobs, rather bowing or owing to one another

Everything in this world is contingent, and a contingent thing has to depend on another contingent thing and that to another one. It is an absurdity to think that this can go on forever. Therefore there must something which is necessary that is in independent all of contingent things hence having direct influence or in a classical sense 'control' over everything.

The answer may bind to the following analogy As fate written upon the creation,, contingence is forced, this embarkment upon the the law is also out of control of the creator, as the law creatd by him, Thus snatches the omnipotency and breaks down his abilities, which is impossible. Analysing him as a being , which must be unfair but to put Rational theories to it, contigent beings created from a source , and that source to be incontigent must be free and independent of the Creations, making him the true creator, as it wont bind him to the cause, his actions ,his past or future. It may bind him to a purpose, that is inexplainable by any theories whatsoever. As pets cant say where their master goes, the situation is same. As a summary , I declare The omnipotent independent to my existence and me being to dependent to his creations.

It thus proceeds that God has control over everything, since god is the only thing that is necessary and independent. However, you have a point there. The Quran has explained this paradox in Chapter 76:30 'but you cannot will unless Allah wills'. As muslims, we affirm it is true, but how such second order Will works is unknown.

SubhanAllah. The Sound of Islam. Islam has never needed to be ever defended. It stands regally on its own. Those who ponder will find the Truth in it. Those who listen with their hearts will feel Allah’s Guidance in their life. Alhumdullillah. Islam and Muslims will always face enemies and opposition, because Islam holds the mirror where Truth stands clear and Falsehood falls.

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: Verily Islam started as something strange and it would again revert (to its old position) of being strange just as it started, and it would recede between the two mosques just as the serpent crawls back into its hole.
