Unstoppable Genetic Freak | Taqele Naiyaravoro Violent Collisions [Big Hits, Best Tries and Facts]
Ойын-сауық
Taqele Naiyaravoro got some god-given genetics. He is 135kg for 1m95 which makes him pretty much unstoppable on the wing. In this rugby highlights video, you will see some of his biggest hits and best tries as well as some facts about him and his career.
He played for Australia, the Glasgow Warriors, and is currently playing with the Northampton saints in the UK.
As you may have guessed, he was born in Fiji but decided to move to Australia at an early age.
Taqele Naiyaravoro is in my opinion one of the strongest attackers and the most difficult player to defend in the premiership and maybe in the world !
I would definitely not like to play against him !
I am also very active on Instagram: / rugby_everest

Wished he would have played for Fiji instead of Australia. He would of have a longer international career possibly playing in 2 RWC by now. Plus he playing alongside Nadolo and Radradra would have been amazing to see.

As an Edinburgh fan, he blew his chance at stardom when he flopped at Glasgow. Scored a hatrick against the scarlets and everyone called him the new Lomu. however, he was lethargic, slow and seemed to do nothing for the rest of the season. Once he left the warriors the hype died down and here we are now. I feel that his lack of impact in Europe was his undoing, because he joined Glasgow shortly after the Wallabies changed their overseas eligibility rules
If Fiji got their best players together from all over the globe they would be formidable and quite possibly rise up the ranks instead of being at 11 currently as we speak……..they have got some huge boys with speed and power in the back lines as well as forwards…..their average height for the whole team would be around 6’1 maybe 6’3……than pack on the muscle and you have a beast of a team that don’t have weaknesses anywhere……they don’t need playbooks - they literally wrote the guide on how to play Brazilian type rugby and amaze the world…..they are the true 7s kings so imagine if they got the 15 man game tight and finally got the substance as well as the formula to be world beaters and become a tier one team with top 3 world ranking….that isnt impossible but right now it doesn’t look likely either …the current Fijian team is packed with superstars and are doing amazing ….good luck for future brothers - one love 💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥

It doesn't work like that - you cant just throw a bunch of big guys together and expect them to compete at the highest level, no matter their individual skills levels. That's what coaching/structure and focus/strategy deliver and that is exactly what Fijian rugby doesn't have. If theu have money invested in a proper national coaching structure, they'd become a world force.
How do they only show that try at 0:48 again Ana’s again? Wow that was brutal how he just marched through that whole team practically after catching the ball where he did. That’s was insane and I can’t believe I’ve never seen that try on a you tube collection yet. Stunning

Fiji named him in their squad in 2015 and he also signed a deal with Glasgow that year. But then Australia named him in their squad for 2015. He went with Australia. Aussie gave him no game time during the rugby championship that year or during then tests until a match they had against the USA. So he didn’t even get the chance to prove himself until that game. Then before the 2015 World Cup, they dropped him from the team. So not only did they not want him, they made sure Fiji couldn’t get him either.

3:08 😅
Yeah there is a reason why he was only playing at Glasgow and the Wallabies dropped him, the era of 120+ kgs freak wingers is truly over, it actually never really produced the goods. We have been in the era of speedsters for quite some time now. The likes of Koroibete, Loane, Reece, Jordan, Kolbe, Rees-Zammit, Villiere, Penaud, Thomas, Spring, Lowe, Earls, Hansen, Henshaw, etc, etc, they would run around that big unit or go above his head like he was not even there. Looking at the best Fijian wingers like Tuisova, they are big but they also have tremendous velocity. Naiyaravoro is like Nadolo, hard to stop when he carries granted in both cases the opposition never took long to figure it out, but in attack, these are the type of players the opposition will target because they are horrible defenders, way too slow off the mark. For me the era of super heavy wingers was quite boring to watch, it was all about maximum weight and very little skills.
Come on you saints
He would make an even better rugby league player I reckon

@silajeep1
2 жыл бұрын
Kevan M Allison it's another type of rugby. Just type in rugby league biggest hits and you will see. It's simpler to learn and for newbie fans to understand than rugby and very similar to American football in that they have 5 sets (equivalent to downs in American football) to try and score and if you can't then you kick it away on the last play to get field position and pin the opposing team deep in their territory.
@silajeep1
2 жыл бұрын
Kevan M Allison nz, Australia, the U.K. , Papua New Guinea , pacific islands and some smaller European nations is where league is popular. I just know that league would be much better suited to American football players in terms of cross code transitioning.
@silajeep1
2 жыл бұрын
Kevan M Allison no rucks or mauls in league , it only have a scrum when both sides commit off setting fouls, but there is virtually never any pushing or contesting for the ball like in rugby where it is a key set play. So it's just used as a means to quickly start play again. This is why rugby generally have much larger sized 'forwards' (linemen if u like) than league forwards, as power and weight is important to contest for the ball in rucks, mauls, scrums. Gridiron players starting in rugby struggle to learn those rugby methods, so in league you just concentrate on run hard and tackle hard, simpler than rugby!
