All of these are absolutely ridiculous goals but my favourite HAS to be that Palace free-kick at the end there, I remember watching that game live with my Dad and I remember the commentators saying "This is a very big, very long Palace wall because they know how good he is at these so there's no way here's scoring here ...... OMG HE'S DONE IT WHAT A GOAL FROM DIMITRI PAYET!!!!!" ..... I will never forget that, what a moment and what a player like seriously imagine if he was in our team/our squad now! Omg we'd be challenging for the top 4 without a doubt, best player I've ever seen play for West Ham loved him 😍😍😍 #DP27 #COYI ⚒️⚒️⚒️

I don't know where you get underrated from but he clearly wasn't underrated at West Ham United, We knew his worth! For the short time he was with us, it was The West Ham Way!

Nobody underrated Payet. Everyone knew how good he was, he just didn’t enjoy life at West Ham. He should’ve gone to PSG if he wanted to move back to France. He ruined his own career

im not even a west ham fan, but that west ham team around payet was amazing to watch...that curling freekick against palace was just pure magic

Pure GENIUS

I went to a pre-season game in Southend and I think it was his first appearance for us. I said that he was the best player we'd had since di Canio. I think that's still true, but maybe Paqueta or Kudus can reach his standard. It was a joy to watch him play for us. I can still picture myself with my family going mental in Chav Corner when he scored that ridiculous Palace free kick.

Thanks. goals beautiful,,, if we could have kept him, for another couple of seasons
