I get why he doesn't he's already very skilled so aimbot essentially is pointless. Not to mention the beam costs energy on top of weapons he may be using. Just not enough benefit for it's usage of energy. Mind you with t3's I think you'd see a pay off.

@@squa_81too slow to rush and in a 2v2 format the firepower of a second teammate is almost required to keep yourselves alive. A teammate wasting time and resources teching into a non damaging weapon is lethal to your team bc by that time both opponents would have fielded heavy weapons and dealt with you

Just a quick fyi: Depleted uranium rounds IRL is just a fancy way of saying Super dense super hard round... its hardly any radiation at all (hence the DEPLETED tag)

Kinda besides the point but depleted uranium is not a nuclear weapon. It's the spent fuel of nuclear reactor. It is used in anti tank projectiles because it is denser than lead. It is also used as ballast in aircrafts and ships, for the same reason. It has very low radioactivity and is safe as long as not consumed or inhaled.

It's still not safe as ammunition. Small pieces spall off on impact, and even whole bullets from misses, buried into rock and soil, poison the area afterwards.

It's not only denser, it also burst into flames when finely dispersed (like when a round is penetrating armor). It's not used as a counterweight anymore in aricrafts and ships because, well you said it. It's highly toxic. And even though its radioactivity is pretty low compared to say U234/U237 or Cs137... It's not exactly unreactive either. The use of depleted uranium in weapons is quite a controversial topic.

The usage of depleted uranium is very controversial. Most nations prefer to use tungsten as it is nowhere near as toxic and is unlikely to end up being a war crime.

That team combo is INSANE. Definitely the new meta

Depleted Uranium rounds are actually super interesting. They aren't used for radiation, they're used because they actively counter heavy armor. If a DU round contacts armor, instead of being deflected or absorbed, the round hardens and becomes MORE lethal. This was used against armored vehicles like tanks, because it made their heavy armor a liability rather than an advantage. (usually it was complimented with incendiaries) So basically if you were in a tank and got shot with a few of these, not only did the armor of the tank do nothing, but also the inside of your tank is on fire (igniting munition and fuel) and you are on fire. Now, this ammunition is REALLY HEAVY. So you gotta bear in mind it costs more to transport per round than it does a regular bullet. And most guns don't have the power to effectively lob these things, so HIGH power rifles and cannons were really the only users of this stuff. So the stuff works great, but its not necessarily a strict upgrade. It has some downsides.

They're not radioactive or nuclear rounds, they're depleted uranium rounds, super dense materials giving you better penetration. That's like calling tungsten slugs "lightbulbs" because "well, it's the same element!"

Depleted uranium is spent radioactively, so it’s just a super dense hard metal, making it effective for penetration.

Two suggestions. Space ships with portals launching nukes from everywhere. Portal turtle that is unbreakable.

Depleted uranium bullets does not mean radioactive bullets, it means armor piercing bullets. The way it works is that when the bullet hits for example a tanks hull then the heat caused by the impact of the bullet will deteriorate the point and produce a "self sharpening effect"

if you use multiple magnabeams and more energy production this is almost negated

depleted uranium is actually mostly unrelated to radioactivity (though the spent bullets littering a battlefield will have some small lingering radioactive effect iirc). it's just that uranium as an element is *really really hard and dense*. so it makes for a *lot* of force focused into bullets otherwise the same size as softer metals like lead, which more readily deform or deliver their force less intensely.

Please do more forts videos more often, i love what you do!!! And having other people with you is also so good to watch!!! Keep it up with those awesome videos!!!

Depleted Uranium is not nuclear. It's just a very dense and tough material, good at fucking up armour plating on tanks etc. But don't let details get in the way of a good story/game.

6:18 - Depleted uranium is very much not "a fancy word for nuclear". In fact, depleted uranium is less radioactive than _natural_ uranium (let alone enriched uranium, used in nuclear weapons). It's even used as radiation _shielding_ in medical equipment. The reason to use it in projectiles is mass (i.e., because it's so dense, a projectile made of uranium carries more energy than an otherwise identical projectile made of a lighter metal). You use _depleted_ uranium when you want to _minimise_ radioactive contamination (but still want that extra mass for the impact).

I don't usually stick around for the second battle, but this waz really entertaining to watch.

DU is not another way of saying nuclear. DU slugs are kinetic penetrators. They are just super dense and maintain inertia well, thus the "depleted." Just FYI.

Something i think I missheard gave me an idea for a mod “no idea if it’s possible” An electromagnet that essentially creates a artificial gravity pull on the target metal/weapon. Could probably use it in zero gravity to steal weapons.

FYI Depleted uranium isn't nuclear - there's a physical property of depleted uranium - of which depleted uranium is the most plentiful material with said property - that means when a cone of depleted uranium impacts a target, instead of the nose being blunted and becoming a mushroom, it will shave off the outer part of itself to achieve greater penetration - this is what's used in the A-10's gun. It will also heat up in this process making secondary damage more likely. It is not a warcrime when used against vehicles or fortified structures, however use against unprotected infantry or civilians is a warcrime.

I don't depleted uraniumum is a fancy word for nuclear. I believe it is used up uraniumum that becomes immensely dense and so it is used as AP ammo. Also freaking amazing video and keep doing your greatness!

Why would one want to do this? Well uranium is really dense and it just so happens that the small amount of remaining radioactive potential ignites when the material splinters. So, my point is to say these are not nuclear cannons, but what they think is the fancy way of saying what they aren't.

If you were afraid of last guys portals/whatever, you could have shot the beam at grass in front of his base and have the 20's shoot above his base to make them curve from the top/behind.

u r certainly breaking the Geneva convention with this combination cause of the overwhelming amount of fire power

That is nightmare inducingly horrifyingly "John Wick"-edly brutal O.O

18:50 ish, you can really see the penetration the shells get with the commander ability. Considering it's heavy weapons, it's not a big deal, but where double metal might have saved the core before, now I think you'll just be deleted.

Oh boy....That seems way too powerful....they might need to make it that those beams effect all projectiles, or just hard nerf it....

Depleted Uranium is just an armor piercing tank shell. The substance is super hard and can pierce layer upon layer of sloped steel armor in reality

It is radioactive, however it is Trace Amounts, and still takes a decent dose entering the bloodstream to actually induce Radiation Poisoning.

Hey Incursus, i had a super funny moment with the magnet beam. I had a 2v1 I was alone only tier 3. And lategame the two enemy’s had resend portals all over the base. All so on top . I had em two but only in front. So what happend was that one of the enemy’s ,they were in a coop base, built a magnet beam and fired it while I shoot my tier 3 cannon. The magnet be deflected of my resend portals and hit their base. And through that eccelerated and lead the bullet right through a spot we’re no resend portal was

Put the magnet beam on a spaceship and use t3 mortars. I imagine this could work very well on battleship map.

Can't say I didn't expect this.

This update is cool! Can you make a video were you show off the other weapons?

I wish I knew the hot keys/how this guy quick builds armor and doors without clicking and ragging or right clicking.
