The Sikh community demonstrated outside the Indian consulate in Toronto, Canada, on July 8, 2023, in protest against the unsolved murder of its leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The Canadian Sikh community accused the Indian government of being behind the killing of Singh, who was gunned down on June 18.

I'm a Pakistani. I just wanted to say that regardless of your hate towards any country or person, you should never ever disrespect a country's flag like that. You have problems with the government, understandable. But by disrespecting a flag you're hurting that county's people who have nothing to do with any of this.
The irony is that only the Canadian Sikhs have this problem Indian Sikhs don't have
These protests seem to be going out of control lately. Hopefully these issues will be resolved in due time.
Sikhs and khalistans are two different things.. We see khalkstanis here, Not sikhs. Not all sikhs wants khalistan. Sikhs are our brothers and India feels safe because of sikhs and they are one of the true patriots of India.
