We go to Emerald Isle North Carolina every year. Every year the sand glows when you disturb it, but a few times the water glowed also, as seen here. Not freaky at all. Most people that frequent the ocean know what this is.

Well This was really fascinating! I loved the pointy ice rolling waves, lots of bits were amazing but one bit really stood out for me. When I moved to here I noticed immediately that the water from the kitchen tap was smooth edged and ran differently to anything I could recall seeing before. It's still a point of fascination (yes I'm easily entertained!) but now I know what's going on, it's Laminar flow! Cheers Be Amazed, that's me educated for today, now to try remember it so I can look like a smart arse 😂😂

my favourite type of ice is Hexagonal . the crystalline form of ice that's because it creates all the amazingly intricate formations . . like snowflakes and on a slightly larger scale some types of frost . . . all of whitch resemble a very complex hexagon in some way
