Unscripted: Divided On The Carbon Capture Pipeline, Iowa Farmers Unite To Battle Floods

AgriTalk’s Chip Flory and Davis Michaelsen join Unscripted’s host Clinton Griffiths while co-host Tyne Morgan enjoys a much deserved vacation. The trio keep the conversation lively, discussing the controversial carbon capture pipeline and the equally divisive presidential debate. Far less divided is the farm community, which has shown its usual all-for-one spirit while battling floods in Iowa and rescuing a Kentucky farmer from a grain bin. This week’s podcast also touches on rising prices and a bull that’s loose - and lost - in Boston.
Unscripted is a show where scripts take a back seat. Tyne and Clinton put down the teleprompters and let the conversations flow naturally. Each week, they bring in fellow Farm Journal hosts and editors to share behind-the-scenes insights on the stories we've covered, giving you a chance to meet the personalities behind the personalities.

I didn’t hear you guys address the Inflation Reduction Act relative to carbon sequestration? Let’s also speak about carbon corn and how this encourages the producer to bein the game.

How much of the price increases are inflation and how much is corporate greed? When so many of the companies are recording record profits, I think they are taking advantage, perhaps part of, the actual inflation and keeping the media attention on inflation, while they raise prices. Just say’n 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
