@@rrenkrieg7988 TBF the magnums are stupidly powerful, I wouldn't be surprised if regular humans had to shoot that slow just to make sure they hit something. Also, in fairness, he was nailing every shot on the tank form's head and staggering it, so we can pass it off as him just being patient and aiming properly

That spartan lazer flood is impressive. He took out the enemies of value and used the infected marine’s tactics against his former comrades. Goes to show how insidious the flood can be if they infect the right person.

I could be wrong, maybe it is one take. But my point is that its not all coincidence, the jenkins reference clearly was coincidence, I even said "i dont know if you did that on purpose". But these things could have happened it a complete random order or in different takes which he then went through and edited it for the sake of telling a story visually. My proof? Heres an example; 2:06 top left hand side, thats the same shot at the end of the video of johnson dying.

The flood with the spartan laser absolutely carried. Even got a 2 for 1. Nice work making this look very cinematic

I was more captivated by this sequence than Infinite. I think it’s because we all understand the horrors of the flood and seeing the elites and humans join forces feels realistic. It feels desperate. Would love to see a story around this. The allies are protecting a VIP, who is crucial to the war effort against the ever growing flood presence. The VIP is currently in hiding at a joint allied stronghold, as he awaits for a capital ship to transport him and his private security contingent - known as Hells Mercenaries to meet with blue team. Though suddenly the base alarm sounds and defences are engaged. The flood have somehow discovered the facility and have sent a significant horde to consume the VIP into their collective consciousness, to finally understand what knowledge he has in defeating them. An extraction team are deployed from a nearby forward operating base to airlift the VIP and his team to another secret location. Though the ETA is 30 minutes. In the meantime, knowing what’s at stake, the marines and elites band together to prepare for their final effort against the flood tyranny. First, a forward element of hogs and ghosts are sent out to disperse and soften the wave of the incoming flood. Without hesitation they are propelled into the horde with thunderous firepower. Reinforced from the parameter wall with overwatch protection. Inevitably and within moments, the flood compose themselves and break through towards the outer parameter. Where they’re met by a barrage of chain guns, sniper and rocket defences stationed above the walls and several surrounding watch towers. Despite the parameters best efforts the flood have broken through and now have their sights on the stronghold blast doors. Guarded by a well entrenched task force composed of dual sword honour guards, jackle snipers and squads of ODST’s they battle ferociously. Though as their numbers inevitably begin to dwindle and hope seems lost, a change in spirit is felt, as significant reinforcements are sent through to hold the line. Elite generals with Spartan lasers and dual swords, 3 pairs of hunters and a large batch of marines carrying SAWs charge forward. With one harmonious effort, knowing they’re not here to win, but to spare time, they push the flood back! An almost sigh of relief is felt among them and within the team inside the blast doors. Until… they hear the screams and horrifying gurgles of an overwhelming horde beyond the parameter wall building momentum towards them. With only minutes remaining the forces clash! As the allies heroically battle, their corpses only serve to reinforce the floods onslaught. They begin to retreat towards the blast doors. Behind those doors the VIP and his mercenaries hear the gun blasts from their allies begin to fade as the horde draws closer. Eventually met with a cold and unwelcoming silence. The flood begin to ram their corpses against the reinforced doors. It’s evident that the structural integrity of these doors won’t last long. The team inside get ready for the horrors that are about to come. Though suddenly bursts of gun fire and missiles are heard! The extraction airlift team radio through and begin to circle with air cover. They prepare to make an escape with the VIP to the agreed extract location. The squad of Hells Mercenaries comprise of 3 ultras, a 4 man team of Spartan IV’s and a brute chieftain who pledged his allegiance after barely surviving an encounter with the flood. The chieftain leads from the front, ultras from the rear and Spartans encircle the VIP from the middle. The fate of the universe lies within this team to get airlifted to safety…. Want to know what happens next?

Seeing an allied chieftain break through flood lines would be beautiful along with accompanied allies from various factions

Sgt. Johnson and Stacker make a pretty good team, makes sense since they're both equally badasses

good video personally I have always thought that the flood should have certain characteristics that differentiate them, for example: the human flood, by not using a shield, is somewhat weaker so to balance that they should be faster, the elite flood should always have their energy shields inherited from their previous form, while the brute flood should be more resistant because the brutes themselves are stronger physically, but they should be a little slower, it's my opinion. @@noahbusch7542 pretty much, in halo 3 flood elites have shields, human flood jump around a lot more trying to melee you, and brutes are slightly slower and will shamble up to you to do increased melee damage

The chaingun Elite was a hero and I thought all was lost when he died. Some cool tactics here, the Flood lasers sniping every and towards the end the humans and Elites finally prioritize taking them out. Was cool!

i really wish marines in halo had jackal adjacent AI and movement actually evading like their lives depends on it, spamming fire on their weapons, repositioning when the enemy gets close, and so on. they should be somewhere between a jackal and a grunt each not worse grunts the friendly elites also feel a lot more sluggish and less aggressive than the enemy ones

Haha the flood is back

First video of yours I've watched, I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. The camera movement and editing is very smooth and the camera moving around to the locations with the most interesting action is great. A lot of the NPC war type videos are just an overhead type view that's unedited, so it's just chaos on screen, making it very difficult to discern what's happening. Your style of editing and camera movement highlights different intricate exchanges in the battle, which is mega refreshing to the chaos of most NPC type videos. Actually having battle music is also a big help to adding to the tension of such a desperate situation, another thing often lacking in other NPC videos. Not only that, but after a second watch through, I only now noticed just how well the music fits with the editing to match what's happening on screen. I didn't even notice it in the first watch through simply because it was so natural! Oh, and the important kills getting that bit of slow mo for just a couple seconds, mm mm mmm, very tasteful. I don't know if you simply downloaded someone else's map or not, but if you did also do that much map editing yourself, then well done, even more effort to be appreciated for the scene you've crafted. I'm the type to rarely comment on anything, only when I've been quite impressed. So, keep up the good work, well edited videos are a rare delicacy with the quantity over quality mentality that is predominant on KZread
