Diffiernt cultures have different scales and notes etc. So there's always that and maybe just mixing up genres instead of using the same 4 chord progression, but hey people like familiarity as well!

But among the two songs, one has this exact music at 0:44 in its intro, and the 2nd one starts with the music at 0:44 followed by 3/4 drum/cymbals beats. If anyone knows what songs I'm talking about, please let me know. I'll edit this comment if I recall any of the names. Edit: I recalled the names of both the songs after waking up this morning. The 2 songs are "Bootylicious" by Destiny's Child and "I was made for lovin' you" by Kiss.
