After spending almost a week in Pokhara region I went to Bandipur which is a small village/town located in Between Kathmandu and Pokhara and I stayed at a local homestay in 1000NPR and my experience with my host was really good he showed me around and told about the history of Bandipur and we visited one of the most famous schools in Nepal namely Notre dame school
The Newari town of Bandipur is one of central Nepal's hidden gems. It combines traditional village architecture, epic Himalayan views, lovely countryside walks, local adventure sports, and excellent accommodation. It's also an ideal place to break up the drive between Pokhara and Kathmandu while getting a relaxing taste of rural Nepal in the process
