This video is about 2 years old. If you look at all my tutorials from the last year or more I don't use music anymore. So i did learn my lesson years ago ;)

Your shots are well executed.. pull kick and dead long are both nice and smooth.

@fusball4life Yea i noticed that the background music was louder than I intended. It wasn't that loud on the editing program. I might upload a new version with the background music a bit softer.

@Stellarffxi Yea, music came out louder than it was on my editing software. It is annoying. From now on, no more tutorials with music. Sorry about that.

I'm having some trouble hitting the beyond-middle long on the 2 bar pull. I always set up on the wall so I have all the options. My pull on the 3 is golden, with a long that lands in the last 1 or two dots of the goal, can go deadbar, and is unraceable. My 2 bar pull is good all the way up to the square middle or just before. Beyond that, I almost always spray wide or fan on it. Even if I make contact my wrist gets pretty strained to the point where practicing can't continue after too much longer, and my game on the 3 bar would suffer. I try to use the same stance and grip, and a set that's just a little deeper than my set on the 3. Any tips? I may share a video if I find the time. Part of it may be the bars... they have some bend in them. I play on a lower end tornado at home and a dynamo with a lot of bend in the rods at work. I saw the goalie pullshot tips video you posted, and as I said, I fine up until that long hole. Any tips would be appreciated.

@reanimator6190 There's a proper way to hold the handles when you are going to shoot a pull shot. My forward pull tutorial shows you how to hold the handle. A common mistake beginners make is to have their thumb on top of the handle (more of an open hand grip) and that's very hard to generate accurate shots.

Great options

@pokeryfoosy Not really since I can attack the same holes using spray, cutback, or square pull shots to the short/middle.
@Stellarffxi12 жыл бұрын
@reanimator6190 It depends on what type of shot you're performing.. Open handed or closed handed. Closed handed is almost always preferred, as it creates a lot more options for the shot (angles etc). Different strokes really require different holds. A good way to start is hold it like you would a motorcycle handle. Might feel awkward since you're facing the table and this is why a lot of players square away their stance and stand about 45 degrees towards the table..

Thanks for the fine tutorial. But please no music! That's annoying and you're almost impossible to understand.

is there a proper way to hold the handles? i'm a novice foosballer and I hold them differently. does it make a big difference or is it just preference?

@zekefooser Well you have to admit mate,...it is rather intrusive, monotonous and loud. After all, it's meant to be a tutorial isn't it? You have had one or two other comments regarding the music. Peace.
