I think this is the best Snake Shot tutorial, you are really good at making people to see the action and understand the concept of this shot. Thanks a lot.
Yes definitely. I've been wanting to do a front pin tutorial for a while, so it will be on the queue.
Well done Zeke, your videos are both informative and fun to watch!
Glad to hear that! More coming.
That's what I call a quality tutorial, video, and shots!
Great vid Zeke. Wish I had these kinds of explanations when I was learning the shot.
Thanks for making this training video on Foosball, this kinda material really helps anyone who wants to get better, at a great game we all love Foosball!! an yes its like tabletop warfare!
Latest video helped me tons! Thanks, keep them coming.
Great vid as always, tnx Zeke! If I may add, the tap-n-hit option is indeed a one time- per game thing , but its 1) hard to screw, and 2) does freeze people, so could be a good option even for a important last shot. I also do a tap-and- 1 hole up push snake, works solid
Great advice. Goalies need to remember that as well. Most shooters will look for the easiest or closest hole. Make the shooter earn the point.
Awsome! Thanks Zeke! :) i definatly look foward to that video!
awesome table awesome tutorial
Thanks! I will be trying to add these techniques to my game.
Very nice videos man, good quality and good player
Your videos are very good. Keep them coming.
Thats great!, your vids are excelent, i'll be waiting for it.
I have a whole series of defensive videos in the works. 1) Defensive concepts 2) Rollover defense 3) pull defense 4) defensive zones. I should have one of those out this week.
Awesome thank you so much! i will upload it as soon as i can :D
you're doing very good tutorials man...

I see. I will for sure make an advanced pull shot tutorial.
At first: thank you for your reply. But no, i'm not in Germany, i live in Holland, so it's almost next door and i'll have it delivered.. Was looking for a second hand 'competition table', but they are hard to find, and the Ullrich home is €490,- with delivercosts. That's a price i can overcome :) I'll keep watching your tutorials for training purposes!!
Thanks!
Thanks a lot.
That's really nice. Can you do a tutorial of pull shot about picking holes or some tips when shooting?
Yes of course. I do that all the time. Just let me know where you post it.
Hi Zeke! Great video, i really enjoyed it. I was wandering if you could do a video on like an advance aspect of the pin-shot/euro pin? I dont see many videos floating out there about this particular shot and i was wandering if you might be able to cover it?
Hey Zeke, thank you for all your very nice tutorials! Do you think the Ullrich home is a good table to start with? I'd really appreciate your opinion!
Zeke, great vids and I like your stepwise teaching style. My question is about using angles and cuts from the snake. Is anyone on tour regularly cutting their snake to open up more holes. I find the 1 dot pull that cuts back is very effective, but I'm not able to master the same concept on the push side. Thoughts?
Hi Zeke nice vid, i was wondering if you could make a video about defending pull/push shots, it would be really helpful. I notice there aren't much vids about defending.
Zeke, Could you perhaps talk more about inside sprays?
If you're using a lot of recoil, try limiting the amount of recoil you're using. Try adjusting the rock - how far you're rocking.. try rocking less and rocking more. Also try with no rock. See which works best and develop your shot accordingly. Just try not to have your push-side necessitate something that your pull side doesn't, or opponents could catch on.. ie. pull side always comes from a rock.. push side from a stand still.. that will tell opponents where you're going, so make them similar.
Hey Zeke! First of all, really impressive guides and videos you got! Im considering buying a Foosball Table, cause i really enjoy playing it, and i wanna take it to the next level :) Do you have any suggestions about what table to buy? I am a newbie, but i really want a quality table, so i can start practising! Hope to get a respond (;
That would be a great table to start with. Are you in Germany?
oh no! Whoops i meant next video to be "advanced pull shots? or advanced push/pull kicks such as etc.." :S My bad haha!
Hey Zeke! Excellent video, thanks a lot! :) When I shoot the snake I don´t seem to get enough pressure behind the ball which means it´s kind of slow... Any tipps??? I´ve tried adjusting my stand and the way I hold my hand but nothing seems to help. When I slightly let go of the rod and catch it just after the shot I can get the speed but that´s not the right technique and kind of crappy :( Not even sure if it´s legal. Would rather like to learn it the proper way!
hey nice video, can I ask about angled shots from the snake? Like imagine standard defense where I start off from the middle and then go to the pull side but instead of shooting straight and hitting the goalie guy I will shoot the ball in an angle so that it goes between the defenders and hits the push side corner of the goal. Is that even a thing? What's your opinion on this? Am I better off just trying to go push side straight shot?
What part of the video are you referring to? If i said pull shots, i meant pull side.
Hey Zeke, do you know anywhere that sells tornado tables available in the UK?
Zeke, I'd like to learn how to do a cut back snake shot, but I can't find any tutorials. I know you can do them; will you make a video to demonstrate? Thank you.

Matthew thanks for the suggestion. I'll put one togother for you.
What's the advantage, if any, of the 'Snake' shot vs the regular grip shot?

Partly it´s just a matter of taste. Here in Europe people like also to play pinshot. But most players agree, that a snake shot needs less exercising until you are on a competitive level. Moreover, a good goalie can often see the moment, when a shot starts its execution. With a snake shot, that moment is harder to read than with others.
Hi, can anyone tell me, if snake shot must be done by using wrist or can be done any other way?
Are you world champion or what?
hey zeke would it be ok if i send you a vid of me snaking to see what u think and if u could give me some tips that would be awesome :P,
Sounds like you are not following through with the shot. Make sure that when you rotate the rod to hit the ball, that the man is ending up almost parallel to the playing surface. After I do some of my shots on that tutorial pay attention to where the man ends up after I finish the shot. So just the handle roll on the palm of your hand to make sure it keeps rotating past the point of impact.
I can't find tutorial Snake shot grip/
Post this question on britfoos DOT com.
advanced pull shots? or advanced push/pull kicks such as juggling into a push/pull kick?
thank you but that's too fast and I can´t see what you are doing Also the video has a limited amount of frames per second and while shooting all images are blurred or missing, for example i know you shot at sec 0:27 but can't see that even going frame by frame
??? why are there three goalies

Mike Hunt There's only one goalie. The wing guys don't cover the goal, they are there to prevent the ball from getting stuck in the corners. The table surface is flat. Other tables use ramps and won't have the wing guys on the goalie rod. Check out my video on 13 vs 11 players for a more in depth explanation.
