Thank you for the top down view instead of the 3rd person perspective. Since many arpgs are topdown or isometric, this is a better approach.

Is there a prereq to this that I missed? Loaded up the topdown template, missing Input and Action folders, TopDownController is missing the Event BeginPlay. 4mins in and already lost.

I ran into a problem where by unchecking orientation to movement in the CharMoveComp it would make my normal walking always face one direction. I just left it checked on and still lets me turn when holding shift but when walking normally with mouse it orients to the direction.

For some reason point and click movement doesnt work anymore after I built a new level with a new landscape, niagra does work and pressed does. What to do?

How can you get rid of this gliding and delay to the movement that is happening? It looks very bad. Its like the character is underwater or walking on ice.

I was following this and set a wrong variable, then hit control+z to undo it, now my character just floats and won't move. Whats with this program?

This would work if I applied it in third person, I would like a 3rd person RPG but clicking to move also works

We had to start again. Explained at start of video.

Stop starting tutorials and never finishing them... we don't learn anything from 3 part tutorials...

I honestly learned a lot from his Action RPG series, in the beginning he said that his old rpg project was somehow broken so he had to restart it, not like hes gonna not finish the series, just look at his survival series, that one is 10 videos long.

Seems many more would benefit from a 3rd person than top down.
